Great location just south of town

The parking lot is tight, but we managed to fit in and out okay. Thankfully we drove a small car, but I imagine it would be more challenging for bigger vehicles.

The view from our room was terrific and the staff was great. We even swam in the saltwater pool and enjoyed the company of other guests staying at the hotel. The sound of waves crashing against the rocks lulled us to sleep at night. The fans and ocean breeze made the room quite comfortable. No need for air conditioning.

We were there in June but imagine it might get hotter later in the summer. We found the fans to be cool enough with the slider open.

It is next to the road so there is some motorcycle noise but the Ocean waves drown that out.

The blinds were broken/ hard to adjust, so I had to change in the bathroom to make sure I wasn’t on display. The rooms could use a little updating/ it wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t as clean as a typical hotel would be, and the shower pressure was very bad. However-this is me nitpicking. The location, private lanai, and pool are the big draws, and I definitely plan on returning to stay here again in the near future!

The location, the lanai , and the awesome salt water pool right behind the sea wall. The staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful. The beautiful sound of the ocean was constant, and kept me cool, even on hot days with no AC. The room itself is very no frills, but has everything you need. I really enjoyed my stay there.

I wis you had a hot tub . That’s not exactly a problem, but that’s all I got .

It’s a small hotel it’s casual and peaceful and so close to the ocean that waves can spray int the pool ! Everyone on the staff is friendly and has good knowledge of Kona and are more than happy to help.

EVY and Will were charming, helpful Inn keepers. Our room was lovely. We looked out on the surf. Each evening, we sat at the pool overlooking the ocean and watched the sunset. The hotel is situated a mile from the Kona tourist district.

The nights were warm while we were there, and the room was warmer. The two fans were really necessary and it was pretty hot. The many positives outweighed this negative, though.

The view from our room was spectacular!! Not only is the ocean beautiful, we could see the fish swimming right below our lanai. Totally magical.

The staff was AWESOME!!! The room was incredible!! Great views, super clean, and very cozy. A million times better than a resort. I’m telling all my friends about Kona Tiki hotel, and can’t wait to go back. MAHALO

This is a small hotel with a private pool and parking. It is not in central Kona, so it is quite far away from all the party noise, but it is still within walking distance if you want to grab a beer in a bar. The owner is very friendly.

There were no complaints. The parking lot is small but there is street parking when it's full. There is no AC but with the fans and the slider open it was manageable. Besides if we had the AC we wouldn't have had the door open to hear the ocean.

The location in the seawall was perfect with the crashing waves. The salt water pool which the waves crashed into during high tides was beautiful and refreshing. Our room and lanai were well cared for and had everything we needed. Check-in was easy and pool tools were refreshed when wet.

Shower water pressure was extremely low. Not very close to many things - stores are walkable to but a bit of a distance in the heat (I did not mind it), but proper beaches require a car ride.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful ocean view and sunset view. Very clean room with comfortable bedding and lots of towels. Easy swim towel exchange system (simply put used towel on a stool outside your door and it is exchanged). Easy and clear room access instructions provided.
