Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesWe stayed four nights and due to a flight change had to stay an additional night. We thought the front desk could give us a deal but they recommended we use booking.com or another travel agent to get the best deal. We ended up staying elsewhere since the price was 30% higher (Friday night).
We stayed in the older section of the hotel which was very comfortable. The room was large with a wet bar/sink as well as a nice sitting area. The bathroom was very large and well appointed. The pool area was lovely. I really enjoyed the morning coffee service. Our first night we ate outside in the restaurant for happy hour and were very happy. The location was great, just a couple of blocks from the beach and Ocean Drive.

United KingdomMusic at pool was a bit much - not sure what the aim/ choose of audience was. If it was chilled out music it would have been different but playing house music all day got a bit boring. Would be nice if there was a lounge area - no where to chill out during a thunder storm/ poor weather. Area on 1st floor above reception is wasted.
Both pools were excellent, proximity to south beach and restaurants. Happy hour was good! Comfortable beds. Staff were really nice and can’t fault them.

United StatesDespite the attractive room and hotel furnishing, the air smelled stale/mildewy both in our guest room and the interior part of the hotel restaurant (El Patio). I understand buildings in South Beach are old and being at the beach brings moisture, but just a warning for those with respiratory issues.
Hotel is in a great easy to access location in South Beach, walking distance from many of the "must-do's". Nicely decorated with cute sitting areas and art. Onsite restaurant and cafe are a great touch. Property has two swimming pools, a quieter one of the ground level and more lively rooftop pool.

Onsite restaurants and bar were very good and reasonably priced. Free coffee and wine at points during the day. Very helpful staff. Beach towels, bags and umbrellas available. Short walk to Ocean Drive and the beach and lots of good restaurants nearby. Rooms and communal areas clean and fresh.
