I would have liked for housekeeping to have come to tidy up during our stay and hang up fresh bath towels.

The resort property and location by the coast were beautiful. The suite was very roomy and comfortable. We slept like babies, and I wish we could find some pillows like we had on the bed.

Despite it being right on the ocean, there isn't much beach or great area to swim. We walked along the beach and found an area where the swimming was better.

The suite was clean and well equipped. The sofa bed even had a decent mattress. The pool area was gorgeous. The location was great, restaurants and shops across the parking lot and a Safeway within 20 min walk. The property is right on the ocean and a there was a constant cooling breeze off the ocean.

The facility is a bit outdated but the location made up for it. I wish the pool bar/kitchen stayed open a lot later maybe like 10 p.m.

It had a close family feeling. Cannot wait to come back!

Not much to complain about. We did wish that they had beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow. The drapes blocked most of the light but it still came in at the end near our heads. Our room had northern exposure, but I think an ocean view would have been brutal in the early mornings.

The location was perfect. If we were to return to the island we would choose the east shore again. The staff was great and extremely responsive to our needs. The room size of the 1 BR suite with the kitchen, and washer and dryer was perfect for 2 people. I loved having the washer and dryer! The grounds were beautiful and the pool and jacuzzi were very nice.

There were a few guests who were not good at following the basic rules, of no smoking, and after hours noise. It would be good to see at least one security person checking up on these types of problems at night, or better signage.

The area is quite quiet, and off the beaten path but has an ocean front (not swimmable). We weren't there to swim, we were there to relax, and hang out, walk along the shore, and not be overrun by tourists.

This resort was beautiful and centrally located to several restaurants and shops. The pool area and bar were very relaxing and convenient. The restaurant on site was the best we had on the island! Highly recommend staying here.

Beaches close by weren't my favorite and I preferred going north or south shores, but it was a good home base.

A nice resort, close to lots of food choices and a few markets. Washer and dryer were a game changer. The pool and hot tub were well kept. Bed was a bit firm but I like that so it was a plus for me.

We loved the size of our 1 bedroom unit - quiet grounds, beautiful sounds of the ocean and of course, the roosters that roam the property. We loved the pool area, the convenience of the Coconut shopping mall within a couple minutes walking distance. The complimentary coffee in the morning. We had a lovely time in paradise!

Two sets of stairs is a challenge as we age but necessary for the best views and comfort.

We have been here many times and realize this is one of the best locations along a portion of the island that doesn't have beach access. The value of the grassy knoll above the ocean waves has become more appropriate as we get older. The Hukilau restaurant is one of the best on the island and we always had a great meal and experience adjoining the pleasant landscaping and vibe of the Kauai Coast resort aka the Beachboy.

Can’t complain. Everything was great. Just know that you’re taking care of yourself. No housekeeping etc during your stay. But my laundry is done for arrival home. 😌 that’s a bonus.

The location is great for us. We could drive and explore the island. The coconut marketplace was perfect.

Can't book excursions on site unless you agree to attend time share seminar. We were told we could book a Luau immediately but as soon as we declined to attend time share meeting, we were told we'd have to walk to another resort to bòok it and any other excursions. Roosters woke me every morning.

Beautiful grounds. Delicious meal at restaurant. Beds very comfortable. AC worked well. Very close to pharmacy and grocery shopping.

Some of the people in lower rooms were very possessive about the grass outside their unit, and not very nice about it.

We were very happy with the location of this hotel. We wanted to do day trips to the north and to see waterfalls and this was perfect. The small mall across the street was wonderful. We used the market every morning for breakfast or evenings for a snack. The pool was so refreshing, the grounds are beautiful! The room was so big and comfortable. A walk down the boardwalk ended at Lava Lava Beach Club for dinner, which was so nice to be able to walk to. I would stay here again

The location was great because it was in the middle of the island easier access to all Kauai has to offer. It is on the beach but the waves were high when we were there so we chose to swim at another beach, but we were also exploring so didn’t mind that.
