Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaI just wished their was a better temperature control system in room. The aircon in our loft was very loud and most of the time has to turn it off to sleep and ended up waking up in a sweat.
Loved the interior design, the downstairs reception area and the customer service people.

United StatesThe staff was amazing all the way from the front desk, to the shuttle drivers, to the hot chocolate and breakfast staff, and cleaning people. Such a great trip - they made up feel like we were at home. We just booked our next trip with them in Feb 2025 (and this time we are bringing more family with us).

United StatesLess kids in the hot tub. Love the family friendly atmosphere though! Fan in bathroom a little loud. Restaurant in lodge not open when we were there.
Provided breakfast was perfect for us. I was a little skeptical at what might be offered, but it was great! We had breakfast there every morning for 6 days. It hit the spot! Location excellent. Ski in and ski out. Very friendly staff! Friendly free shuttle to get around ski resort. Wonderful fireplace to sit around in the lodge and drink provided hot chocolate, popcorn, and cookies after a day of skiing! Really an excellent place to stay for skiing the fish! Skiing was awesome!!!

United StatesIm sure everyone says this but an elevator would have been nice since we were on the third floor but it felt more like a home or cabin using the stairs. Only mattered when hauling our luggage but the staff was kind and offered to help with that.
The breakfast was a nice surprise. We knew it was included but was much more than expected. LOVED the waffles. The popcorn and hot drinks post ski day was a nice touch as well. We loved the homy feel of the "Living room" area and the live music on our last night. The hot tub and sauna were also nice to have after a long day. We liked the boot and ski rooms and the readily available shuttle to the lifts in the morning.

-Large hot tub -Helpful, friendly staff -Perfect breakfast options for a light breakfast before skiing -My daughter loved the hot chocolate bar and popcorn and cookies served everyday around 3pm. -Coffee and hot water (for tea) was available all day long -Comfortable beds -Location is in walking distance to the upper village which are where all the restaurants are -Shuttle takes you right to the hill and the drivers are very helpful with how to get picked up at the end of the day from where ever you happen to be.

NetherlandsThe hotel is located in a mountain village equiped for wintersports, so everything was closed when we visited. This meant that to get dinner, we had to run up and down the mountain.
Fantastic lodge with big rooms. You can tell this hotel mainly caters for the winterseason. The jacuzzi was great for the kids. Breakfast offered a wide selection of foods and great quality. Great place for a trip to Glacier, and I would image a great place for winter sports.

United StatesFor anyone who is physically challenged or has a difficult time going up flights of stairs, there is no elevator. The staff was more than willing to take our luggage to our room. For seniors who may not be in the best of health, the stairs may present somewhat of a challenge. Also, there was very limited parking directly in front of the Lodge. However, there was plenty of parking across the street in a dirt/gravel lot.
The main living had a great fireplace that the staff kept the fire going at all times. There was plenty of seating areas in the living room. The breakfast was very good. A variety of choices. Our room had a queen bed and a pull out sofa which was extremely comfortable. The room had a table and chairs by the window which was nice. Also the room had a refrigerator. Free Wi-Fi and lots of channels on the TV which, for us, really didn’t matter. Quick ride into Whitefish which offered lots and lots of dining options as the restaurant at the Lodge was not open due to a change in ownership but we were told it would be open in time for ski season. While the sauna was inoperable, the Lodge did have a nice size hot tub.

United StatesWould have preferred a location closer to town, but that's not what the hotel is for. So if you're looking to ski, choose this without evening thinking. It's great for that!
Great price, given the time of year. Location must be great for skiers but we weren't there for that. A short-ish ride into town.
