The staff was very friendly and helpful!! Excellent customer service!!! Great location, within walking distance to lots of gift shops, stores and restaurants . Older building but very clean and the parking is free but It will fill up ln the evening so you have to make sure to park before it gets late.

This is very room type specific criticism. We were in the 2 bedroom family room. My parents in the double room did not have this issue. That’s my disclaimer. So... there are small old, noisy air conditioners in these rooms, which do the job if you're in a larger room. But there was one in both of our small bedrooms just a foot away from our bed, so it disturbed our sleep, as well as our toddler's. The air conditioners ran loudly and it was very hard to get the temperature right. There were no fans in the bedrooms, only the living area. My parents in their double room, just turned the air conditioner off at night and ran the fan and found that kept the room nice and cool and quiet. There was also street noise, which I'm sure is not unique to this hotel, but made worse by the shutter style of the bedroom windows. Again, my parents' room didn't have those shutter style windows, so it was a bit quieter. Based on this, I would not recommend the 2-bedroom family room at this hotel, but would recommend staying in any other room type, as my parents had a comfortable stay.

Friendly helpful staff! We were able to check in early and get in our rooms early on the day we arrived which was amazing. It's a small hotel and is no frills but definitely met all expectations. Short walk to the beach and shops. Great option if you've been priced out of the bigger resorts and hotels.

I have stayed here before. The parking garage is free and multi leveled. Spacies are pretty tight. However, I rented a compact car which was a nice solution to the stress of fitting into the spaces!

Location is near to Waikiki Beach and there were lots of food options that could be used with the full kitchen of the suite. The staff was friendly, gave me a beach towel, there was a swimming pool on site. Our room had a good view of Ala Wai Canal.

Parking was a little bit tight. Plan well and come back early in the evening to find parking then you can do walking stuff nearby for the rest of the night. Other than that this place is amazing!

We loved our stay here at Ilima. It was close to and walking distance to a lot of the shops, restaurants, and beach.

Our entire room and bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke the moment we arrived. Luckily we were able to open the door to the balcony air the place out which helped a lot. The cigarette smoke smell from the bathroom finally disappeared after one night of both of us taking showers and keeping the fan on all day.

The staff were very kind and welcomed us with smiles all throughout our week long stay. The location is in the heart of Waikīkī and next to great restaurants and beaches. We love the full kitchen and separate dining area.

All went well, but a bit more info on places to eat, with menus available would have been nice. The staff was extremely pleasant & friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. Although we did not have time to go to the beach, it was only a few blocks from the hotel.
