United StatesOur mattress was a little lumpy and uncomfortable. My husband ended up going to the sofa because he so uncomfortable. This was our only complaint. Everything else was perfect! We would definitely recommend this hotel.
The staff was courteous and friendly. The hotel itself was updated and clean. Our hotel suite was very clean and had everything that we needed. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of items and was very good.

United StatesYou have to pay to park and it's not told in the description that they charge a $10 fee per day and they tell you that it's because it's being done by a third-party. This should be told upfront. The comforters are a bit worn. The breakfast was adequate after the first day we skipped it.
The rooms are spacious. The facility is nice. the beds are comfortable. The staff is very nice.

United StatesBreakfast is always good here. Eggs and potatoes are available with the other options. I just wish they would bring the omelette maker back. Haven't seen that service since the pandemic. Beds are comfy. No pests or rodents have ever been seen by me. I've been coming here for years. Never seen em. Coffee, cold water, and hot water for tea is available all day in the lobby/food area. It's a great stay honestly.

United StatesThe mattress on the pull out sofa needed replaced, there was a metal bar that ran through the middle of the bed, very uncomfortable and I'm not one to complain. They have a huge parking lot but now they are charging $10/night :-(
It's a good stay for a girls trip, especially with the outdoor pool on a warm summer day.

QatarI have not got my $50 deposit back. Haven't been refunded and it's more than 1 month already. Room was never cleaned for the 4 nights i stayed there, though they kept changing the towels in the bath.
Everything about the hotel was amazing, ranging from check-in, the staff, the location...very close to Dulles Airport and breakfast was great. I enjoyed the swimming pool, very clean. I will recommend this to friends

United Stateslighting was poor in the rooms. They were the cheap LED light bulbs in every fixture were low intensity and cool white. Parking was difficult during the weeknights. They charge $10.00 per night for parking your vehicle and we never expected that to be the case since when we stayed at this particular hotel location before there was not a parking charge in place.
The location was good for us since we knew the area and knew exactly where we were going to be located by staying there at this hotel.

United KingdomNo criticisms of the Hyatt Hotel - it provided what was advertised on the booking.com website
We decided to book a hotel room near the airport to cater for any weather-delayed trans-Atlantic flight and the expected long queues at US Immigration, and then move into Washington DC the next morning to start our USA holiday proper. The Hyatt House Sterling was chosen for its location together with its free shuttle, plus its price. Good tip - go to Dulles information desk in Arrival Halls and they will ring the hotel to call for the shuttle (from Stand 2G outside Arrival Door 6). A perfectly good room to rest and recover from the trans-Atlantic flight and the long immigration queues. The bar was undergoing renovation (rebuild) during our arrival in USA and so we were limited to using the adjacent StreetZ convenience shop at the gas station (50 metres away) for food on our first evening's stay - just adequate for two tired travellers. On our second visit some 3 weeks later (to depart USA next day, again as trans-Atlantic) the bar was 'up & running', with a good selection of snacks and full evening meals - a very pleasant evening spent in the bar that night. Breakfast was the standard America breakfast with a hot option (scrambled eggs, bacon, etc) - perfectly adequate with good service. We made a good choice in the Hyatt Hotel Sterling for our two transit night stops - we would use it again if transiting through Dulles.
