To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these areas, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Check in staff were very welcoming and lovely, we loved the retro style/design, the artwork in the rooms, the beds were super comfortable and sheets 10/10 clean and soft, all the details were well taken care of. Our son enjoyed the water splash area and the pool, it felt very safe and well attended by pool lifeguards.

It was easy to walk to Disneyland from the hotel, and our kids loved the water park and pool at the hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I love how friendly the staff is, always willing to help with a smile and go the extra mile to make sure you have an amazing stay. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. I love how close it is to Disneyland 5 min walk and you are at the gate.

United States of AmericaIt was an easy walk to Disney and felt very safe. There was lots of places to walk to to eat close by. The shop on site was very expensive. $30 for sunscreen but I didn’t have or need a rental car so saved on parking! We didn’t use the water park so I can’t comment on that.

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay and were absolutely blown away by how clean, comfortable, and wonderful the property was, especially the STAFF! Every single HoJo team member we crossed paths with, from front desk to custodial, was kind, warm, welcoming, and efficient. The location is perfect as well! Easy walk to the parks each day.

United States of AmericaWe had planned since booking 4 months ahead to take advantage of the late check out so we could unwind with some pool time on our last day before heading to the airport. We had discussed it at booking and knew there was an extra charge and requested it in our online check in as well as our in person check in. The night before check out we were confronted by a rude employee who told us we would probably not get late check out as it was a first come first serve and they were booked solid. We were told we should never have "counted on" having late check out, but we would find out by 7pm that evening. We did not find out until the morning of our check out at around 9am, and were stressed trying to figure out what to do with ourselves until our afternoon flight. Also, very disappointed in the employee who scolded my husband in the lobby when he was seeking more info on why we were going to be possible denied the late check out (for by the way a policy that we were told had changed since we booked, the first come first serve late check out). Fortunately, we got the late check out, had fun pool time, and had great staff experiences at check out.
The Room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the mid century theme. We had great service at check in (got into our room super early) and check out, especially having our bags stored on our final day at the property. The staff was helpful and cheerful and even gave our child a balloon sword (so fun). We got great suggestions on transportation as well.
