There is no hot tub here as pictured and advertised. To make it worse I called the 1-800 number to ask if it was working before I booked and was told yes. The pool needs an upgrade but tbh when you take care of your property as well as they did it wasn’t an issue. Still clean and usable

Pleasant staff. SUPER CLEAN, every thing my eyes came across was very clean. They had an ice and water machine that I filled my cooler up with for our baseball tournament. Breakfast bar had so many options from fresh fruit to cereal. Coffee bar was my personal favorite!

The spa was closed when I went. The gym is small. The hotel is closed at night so I need to get in or out, have to ask for permission.

Laundry was on the building if needed. very comfy and clean room. Good varieties of breakfast

We checked in at 4:30 pm and our room wasn't ready. We were given the keys and went to the third floor to find the member of staff making up our beds. He said it wouldn't take long, so we left and went back to the lounge area and had a coffee. There was another couple waiting for their room too.

There was an “optional” $1.50 charge tucked into a list of six items you have to initial at check in (including things like there is a fee for smoking in a non-smoking room - that, I understand). I did not initial the optional fee one and told the staff at the time who said it would be taken off my bill in the morning. During the night, they slid a copy of my bill under the door and it still had the charge on it so I had to track down a desk person in the morning (no one was there) and have her credit my bill. I realize it was only $1.50, and if they had better explained what the charge was for, perhaps I would have agreed to it, but it seems a shady practice. There were two fire alarms in the middle of the night, one of which continued fo 20-25 minutes, but that was likely the work of a moron and not the fault of the staff. Breakfast was not appetizing.

Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious. Staff was pleasant. Property is easily accessible but located a bit out of the way and seemed a safe area.

Somethings need updating. The fridge didn’t work well for coldness- we requested a new one in which staff was wonderful about- the replacement one wasn’t any better. Otherwise everything was satisfactory. It’s an older building but can see its well maintained. The pool area wasn’t inciting it’s outdated , fumes from the chlorine were really strong. Also there isn’t any seating areas outside of the building aside from the front doors.

Location to the track - close to restaurants , easy to find , felt safe. We liked how its on a smaller scale as apposed to the bigger hotels: its nice and quiet.

Did not like the towels, thin and not soft. Had to ask for clean towels on second night. I do not reuse a bath towel at home and would not do this staying in a motel. Paying $466.71 for a room in Jackson for 4 nights seemed high, but had stayed there before, so I knew it was clean, just expected better towels and service for a longer stay.

Bed was comfortable pillows were okay. Room was clean, bathroom as well.
