The fridge was not clean. The TV stopped working on the second day and it never got fixed. The size of the room was a lot smaller than the way the pictures depict it and there is NO lake view. The hotel is across the street from Lake Superior and it only tells you in the fine print when booking.

It is right on Highway 41 so it’s super easy to jump on and go into Marquette or to head East.

The staff was unwilling to work with me on a room upgrade despite multiple rooms and willing to pay whatever amount necessary. So a big suite sat open, because he was unwilling to contact anyone to find out how i could upgrade

Breakfast was very ordinary. Typical of this type of motel. We went into town for ours.

Breakfast was best missed. It wouldn’t have taken much effort for staff to be a little more professional and enthusiastic- making sure guests knew where their rooms were, refreshing breakfast bar. Small things that make a huge difference for guests’ experience.

Property was opposite the water- only a short walk to get under the highway to access a walking path, or only a short drive into town. It was nice being outside of the main town centre.

the beds were hard, I prefer softer but that's a personal gripe. It's kinda easy to see how old some parts are, thw coffee machine was filled wirh dust, and one of the dresser drawers was broken where it kept sliding open on its own even if we didn't touch it at all.

it was simple designed and easy to get around. the room was ok enough. the staff was friendly enough to help with the stuff I needed, and thw breakfast was ok enough even if very simple.

Cleanliness. Weak management...they got my reservation wrong. They promised a discount...no discount. Mold and mildew in the bathroom. Olumbing worked poorly. vOnly services the room every 3?days. Had to ask for clean tiwels.

Rams were old and kind of Jenkee looking, the breakfast was horrible. There was absolutely nothing but a half a loaf of bread.

The breakfast was HORRIBLE!!

The receptionist at the front desk was great!!Don't remember her name but we checked in on july 1. Very accommodating!! But when we went for the continental breakfast the bext morning it was horrible. The coffee wasn't hot, the eggs where cold and like rubber,the French toast sticks where cold and stuck to the bottom of the pan. And there where about 6 more people that came in the coffee ran out and finally someone went and something to that receptionist ( completely different gal there) who was just sitting behind the counter she finally got up to make coffee but nothing else. We where there at 8:00AM so not like it was almost over or anything. My husband went to return the key cards and get our receipt which was probably 20 min. Later and people where still waiting for something to eat and coffee. Very disappointed. That could of been alot better. I hope it is not like that everyday and there was alot of people at the lodge that night!! Good luck. But otherwise our stay was good. If I would of known that my view of the lake was across the road and alot of trees I wouldn't of pd the extra money.

The room was a little dusty but other than that it was pretty clean. There was only two pillows and no comforter on each bed, just one thin blanket and sheet compared to when we stayed before. We do bring our own blanket when traveling and room wasn’t to cold so it did work out.

Good location, It was in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do. Staff was just as friendly as they were on previous stay.
