Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BermudaMy stay after my cruise was for three nights, and unfortunately, my room was not attended to i.e., cleaned, therefore I had run out of toilet paper and had to improvise and use Kleenex. Also, at the pool there was not enough for all guest swimming in the pool. Thankfully when checking out and I mentioned this to staff they were not impressed and apologized with an adjustment to my payment. Despite, these misfortunes, I would definitely choose to stay there again and recommend to others.
I enjoyed the breakfast selections. The pool was great, however there were not enough towels to accommodate ALL swimming guest. (I had to air dry). The front desk staff were very accommodating and willing to help and answer any questions asked. The airport shuttle was on-time and efficient, just wished the shuttle picked and dropped off at the cruise port. I liked the location, walking distance to shopping and food places. I stayed before and after my cruise.

United StatesWe really did like the hotel although we were told that breakfast went until 10 AM. So we went down at 8:50 and they were cleaning up breakfast because I guess it ended at 9 AM so we were bummed because we had to order breakfast from somewhere else. We also asked for more towels and they forgot to bring them to us so we had to go and get them the next morning before we showered.
The location was great. The room was spacious and clean.

United StatesOn this trip we didn’t like the room location (#419) as it had a very loud a/c return vent in bedroom connected to outside air conditioning units which likely affected rooms on all floors in this specific location. It made sleeping a challenge. This was not our experience last time. This needs to be addressed.
As return guests we love the private bedrooms making it a much more relaxing stay for families. Great location!! We also love the free breakfast which is very extensive and delicious!
