Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe carpet in the rooms could stand an update and there were no charging ports for phones anywhere in the room as well as missing dirty laundry bags that are in most other hotels. They also charge $16 per person for breakfast that was lackluster at best when it really should be complimentary. I also would have loved a map of the area.
The property is a short walk to River St and City Market, and reasonable distance to other tourist destinations. The room was clean and quiet and the front desk staff was phenomenal when checking in.

United StatesParking - it was $45 a night which I understand since it's in downtown. I did not like is that I forgot something in my car and they said I could not go to garage to get it and they had to bring the car up. I could no longer use their garage link until I left a minimum tip of $5 (ok I guess) but then a $2 processing fee - which I don't think is acceptable at all.
Staff was amazing. Ac was not working well and they immediately sent someone who replaced the whole unit quickly
