Carpet in rooms musty / moldy allergic to mold

The property is ok. Staff is ok. Rooms however are old, musty lots of mold probably. Carpet is disgusting you can smell as soon as you walk in I like that if had shampoo conditioner towels, mini fridge, make up remover Ms emergency toothbrush if needed. I also like that there hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby that is a bonus

The desk chair in our room had a torn arm that looked ugly.

Located in a parking lot is not my favorite place to stay! The hotel needs an overall renovation. But it was ok. Breakfast choices were good.

I didn’t like the hot tub was broken. I actually spoke to a booking agent originally and asked if they had a pool or a hot tub. What were the amenities and she told us it had a hot tub and I said oh great is it open but we’re staying I told Jess so that part was very disappointing when we got there to find out it been broken for a couple of weeks that was the one reason that I picked that particular location because they had a working hot tub and it was close to where I need to be the next morning Seriously the truth that was why I picked the place because it had a hot tub and it wasn’t working. Very disappointed in that.

I thought the property was clean. The room was clean and very nice. The bathroom was extremely small terrible bathroom. The hot tub was broken which was the main reason why I booked the trip on Booking.com. I was having surgery the following day and I wanted to stay in a place that had a hot tub to relax in before I went through this big surgery. It would have been nice was I told pride booking when I actually had spoken to an agent at the hotel that the hot tub was broken, that part was very disappointing

This is a good location for Salem and the property is good for the time needed to stay. Could use some updates and renovations but the staff is exceptionally friendly and location is great.

Paint falling off from bathroom ceiling, dust on the furniture. Breakfast was monotonous, but I feel like that is common standard in the US. Do not pay using Google Pay, because this transaction will go on hold and then go back to your bank account.... so you gonna spend like an hour trying to pay in proper way. Pay using old-fashioned way by sliding your card.

Hotel is close to Market Square, restaurants, and its good to commute from.

Breakfast. I get it’s not a five start hotel, but you just want to get in, eat and get out and not have to wait for 30 minutes to get up multiple times to get breakfast piece m during that time. Also had to get my room keys re-set every night and they were no where near my phone. I know how to follow that rule. It was annoying having to go to the front desk every night after a long day of (insert whatever activity). You just want to go to your room and be comfy, not have to go all the way back to the front desk, and hope they aren’t on break when you need it or you have to simply sit and wait for someone to come help you when you just want to go to sleep. Yea, that happened too. No one at front desk for 10 minutes. Probably a potty break, but there should be enough staff on hand for these things.

There was little to no hot food items (someone before me took last little egg/omelette, no potatoes, no meat/sausages, etc.), then the refill of these items was so slow that you just got tired of waiting since you had places to go. I were very around 8:00 a.m. for breakfast each morning and gave up trying to eat there by day 3.

The man who checked us in was very disengaged and mumbled when he talked so that I had to ask him to repeat himself more than once. He wasn't unfriendly but he wasn't friendly either. He wasn't very welcoming. I wish breakfast lasted a bit later. I understand you cater to lots of business travelers but my son and I were in town to visit a sick relative and weren't able to get down early enough to eat. Not really a complaint, just a suggestion. Our stay was fine.

Hotel needs a little work. Our room 200, the ceiling is coming apart in the bathroom and the tub valve leaks continuously. Lots of little nicks and dings throughout the facility. Does the side door lock, seems like it was always just a pull to get in, no matter how late in the evening it was. The Cornelius juice machine was not working in the breakfast room.

Great location, the staff was superb, and the breakfast was above average. We were well treated and had fun playing card games later in the evening in the breakfast room. The guy cleaning the floor in the front lobby, as we were leaving, told us to have a good day. Earlier in the morning while he was changing the waste basket bag he picked up our dirty plates as he passed by. Unheard of hospitality.

My son was disappointed that the Spa was not functional during our stay.

Everthing as expected. Personnel nice at reception, very clean rooms and comfortable. Good breakfast with nice staff that ensures there is always hot food and coffee, in addition to someone cleaning the tables when someone leaves.

I only booked her to be able to use the jacuzzi and made sure it was open before booking when we got there it was not available very disappointed

Staff was standoff-ish, housekeeping did not clean the room, but managed to take out the used towels. Didnt replace them at all and didnt make the bed or anything else. Very disapointing. Manager was suposed to call me the next day, never heard from him.
