We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

JerseyFurnishings a little old fashioned, but were in keeping with the vibe of the Hotel. If you wanted the sauna it was a bit like a cupboard and I am sure it was functional, but everything in that area looked quite old. The breakfast in the tiny lobby was fun but really there could have been a dinning rooom and we were surprised that there wasn't.
Comfortable and there was plenty space. Bathroom was plenty big enough. Staff friendly. Cintinentl Breakfast was included which was so helpful. It was a quirky set up - you eat in the smll lobby area and chat with any other guests there or if you don't want to mis you take your food back to yor room. We are sociable and met some interesting people. There was a pool and sunbeds. Coffee making facilities are in the room. Free parking.

Really charming hotel. A little bit out of town but only maybe 5 minutes walk and the free parking meant it was worth it. There was a pool which looked lovely but we didn’t use it. Staff were super friendly.

United StatesThe walls and floors tend to be thin, which means that you can hear neighbors’ conversations and footsteps. In addition, the mattress tends to be on the softer side. Finally, the continental breakfast consisted of mainly coffee/tea/juice, fruits (apples and oranges) and individually wrapped pastries and muffins, all served on a small table inside the lobby area.
Wonderfully located where you can easily walk to Ocean Ave. and Carmel Beach. The property is clean and well kept. The staff is professional and courteous. There is also free parking.

United StatesThey changed our room from a deluxe double queen to a deluxe king with two day beds. This was done because I made a mistake in booking. I booked 6 nights but I needed 7 nights. They were going to have to move us after the 6th night to another double queen room so to help us not move they moved us to an unbooked deluxe king for 7 nights. Not moving rooms was great but the day beds were horrible without any support. We managed It was all my fault. Also the lighting is poor in the main sitting area. Staff is friendly and the room is cleaned daily. Great job housekeeping.

GermanyRooms are not noise proof and you can hear everyone around. Room could also have curtains. The pool could be a bit warmer, it says its heated pool but wasnt much.
Location & the staff were amazing! A lot of parking spots. Pool is nice, sauna is separated for men and women, but its nice in a cold day. Toiletries, towels, coffee and all is provided. Food at breakfast was super nice and fresh.

United StatesThe room was clean and neat, but there was a distinct odor of cat urine and Lysol that we asked the front desk to do something about but nothing was done. Not that big a deal, though. Parking was tight but expected.
The location near the center of Carmel is a huge draw. 17 mile drive and Monterey are close by. You could walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Breakfast was standard yogurt and sweet roll fare, but a little something, anyway! Real glasses were furnished, along with wine glasses! The pool looked nice but it was too cool outside for us to use it.
