Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe bed for the price was horrible, it was a sleeper sofa mattress on a steal frame. It was not very clean, we found a dead lizard on the floor. We did not try the breakfast.

United StatesThere was no shower curtain, so I couldn't shower. The toilet rocked back and forth, though i was going to fall off when i first sat on it, and the back of the bathroom door was pealing off. Made it look trashy. The beds would make a creeky poping sound when anyone would move.
It was on the highway. Make it easy to come and go to get to our destination.

United StatesThe hotel was nice but the front desk staff was very rude, nonchalant, didn’t really want to deal with me, when I spoke to him he kept shrugging his shoulders, didn’t acknowledge me, I had to get booking.com to contact him and he told me to just hang up and from now on to just call the hotel directly and book with them. The service is why I want be returning back to this hotel ever again.

United StatesOwner was very rude & unprofessional. He stopped me before I checked out and let me know that he was going to be charging me $100 for my dog. He said it’s $50/night. I disclosed that I had my pet with me when I checked in and the young man who checked me in charged me for my hotel stay and did not say anything about charging anything extra. I tried explaining this to the owner who then got irate and told me that because I booked on booking.com he does not make any money off of my stay and that it actually costs him money to have us stay there. I refused to pay the $100 because had I known up front it would be $100 extra for my 10 pound dog I would have left. The beds were not clean. The sheets were stained and had cigarette burns in them. I paid for a non smoking room and the hotel staff even informed me of a $500 cleaning fee if I smoke in the room. When I arrived at the room, the room smelled strongly of smoke. The hotel advertised a hot breakfast and I went to get it at 7am and there was nothing other than cereal. No coffee, no waffles, no juice. To me, the hotel is not making enough money to stay open so they are trying to take advantage of guests.
The only thing I liked about this property was that it was right off the highway in a convenient location.

awful hotel, construction everywhere. front desk person didn't know what he was doing and was huffing and puffing like I was putting him out. he then proceeded to tell me the pet fee was $25 when the websdite said it was $15, that I had to pay cash and I couldn't have a receipt, luckily I had already read the previous reviews so I was prepared, don't stay here not worth the aggrevation!

The property was in a convenient location and the traffic wasn’t bad! it was very convenient being on the bottom floor with our car right outside the door.

United Statesthe rooms were smoky and dirty. our child’s asthma kicked in and we were unable to stay. we immediately returned to front desk and requested a room change, it was denied, so we asked for a refund. they said we would get one but charged us anyway. we used a different hotel for the night.
