Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesLike to see breakfast start earlier for those rising early for departure. Need bigger signage to locate the facility. Uber drivers dropped me off at night at wrong location and 2nd driver had hard time finding facility at night. Like more tv’s installed…maybe 1 per room
The size of the facility and the many bathrooms. Seen cleaning lady really clean bathrooms. Was able to have privacy because of the size to read or meditate. Use same key card for outside door room and locker…nice! Seemed very secure for area on canal st. Breakfast choices nice. Big kitchen with plenty cookware with option to cook meal…nice! Someone at front desk 24 hrs…nice!

The staff were very kind and courteous and helpful when I had a question or wasn't sure of where I needed to get to where I needed to go, offering suggestions and even telling me the best routes to take to get to wherever I needed to be for the day. Would definitely stay again, and recommend.

United StatesI came back from my show around 2am and someone was sleeping in my bed. I was too tired to even bother the person sleep nor did I want to sleep in the bed after someone else had been laying in it. I went down to the lobby and the person at the desk did give me another bed on a different floor. I know this may happen but it should be a system to avoid people from sleeping in someone else’s paid spot.
I like the location as I am a comedian in town for one night. The hostel was as advertised. Very clean and nice community space to work.

The hostel is absolutely beautiful! My wife and I booked a private room for five nights and I fell in love with this place. The staff were great! The environment was diverse, multicultural and friendly to lgbtq. This hostel focuses on sustainability which is important to me. We have decided to call this place home every single time we come back to New Orleans!

Canada- Fire alarm went out in the middle of the morning due to someone burn't toast on the toast machine (But not the hostels fault) - When I went inside the room, the room had a very strong oder of weed. - No way to control the A/C. The room was a bit too hot.

My initial visit to this hostel was, in general , extremely favorable. The kitchen was WONDERFUL!!! The staff was GREAT!!! I plan to return for future visits from Colombia and México. My Dreo Air Fryer (photo) was purchased from and delivered to this hostel by Amazon. It worked perfectly in the hostel's kitchen. NOTE: The coordinated deliveries between this hostel and UberEats, UPS, FedEx, U.S. Postal Service and Amazon were extremely competent and consistent.
