Dirty bed sheets different lengths of hair on the sheets and even a couple of private area ones.. and a urine stain on another when I complained I was handed sheets to change them myself.. there was only 2 towels in the bathroom and the deluxe family room is for 6 people.... T.v didn't work... I wasn't offered any discounts or apology for all the inconveniences we encountered at this location... It felt like a slap in the face... With how bad it was and not worth it at all

Nit picking: Didnt care for the $100 deposit, but I suppose that keeps the riff-raff away and that's good. The coffee was so good the powdered creamer seemed a shame, but utility counts.

Harbor Inn on Pacific Coast Highway in Harbor City is a pleasant motel. At its price, it's wonderful. Checking in was smooth. The staff was efficient and professional. Our Room 115 had a unique and contemporary design and was spotless. The large bed with a firm mattress had four pillows. There were even gratis chips, cookies and bottled waters on the nightstand The pristine bathroom was well-appointed and offered a tub with the shower. The lobby coffee was hot and flavorful as I checked out.

The room had been upgraded and it was fairly clean, there was just a smell in the room a old mildewy smell . It was hard to sleep with the smell and the area not feeling safe.

That I showed up at night!! Otherwise I would not have stayed .

staff makes u feel unwanted people drinking in the parking lot at night loud music they have dummy rooms just for booking.com was moved to another room when I wanted to extend the first room from booking looked just like the pictures but was moved to a room that was so dirty and looked nothing like the first room and the room I was moved to was on top of the office and by the way the whole time I was there smelt like Indian food and the room next to me had a broken door so all night I could hear the ppl next to be slam the door like 10 times just to get the door to close so yea that was loud all night everyone there hangs outside or in their door way smoking all around not worth it

The outside of my room was a little run down and the judgmental owners. I went outside to throw trash and owner of hotel kept questioning me what I was doing and I told him I stayed there. Also cheap soap and shampoo.

$100 CASH ONLY deposit, bathtub disabled for shower only. Mattress was not great. Area was very noisy, traffic noise and fireworks/gunshots woke me up at night.

The bathroom smelled horrible like urine. I had to clean it my self they didn’t offer to clean. After wiping down it’s still smelled. The bedroom smelled musky and cigarette smoke. A/C smelled like mildew was built up in there. The bathroom had mold in the window which is very unhealthy. Could crack the front window to air out the room. No full body size mirror. The beds very uncomfortable and didn’t smell clean. Outside and inside was dirty see picture mold bathroom windows

I didn’t expect much from this hotel, but was surprised when entered the room. Everything was very clean and neat. Nothing special, but ideal for a couple of nights: there was a microwave, a fridge, and even complimentary water and snacks, which was a very nice touch. I felt suspicious about a $100 deposit in cash and the fact that they don’t provide a document saying that they received it. But the staff kindly agreed to give me their business card saying that I paid the deposit, and the next day returned me the money when I presented that card. At the end, it was even more convenient than a credit card deposit because I didn’t have to wait days for it to appear on my account.

Was hoping for a pool. Should have made sure. Also, had to leave $100 cash deposit which is inconvenient. And then was told the room needed to be inspected before returning deposit. Last, the police was called due to a domestic disturbance. It was loud and uncomfortable

Like I said it would have been so easy if he had been forthright about what it was going to cost to stay there dad he hides the truth in a very deceptive business practices.

The owner of this Motel offers a good sale price but it's not really apparent at the time of booking that he's going to charge you more than double with a cash only security deposit. Then when you don't have the security deposit they steal your room money. ATM charges you $8.50. Very underhanded business at a location with a infamous history in prostitution.

Price advertised on billboard was $14 cheaper than my guaranteed lowest rate. There was no breakfast as advertised. No receipt for $100.00 cash deposit. Staff just wrote on a business card that I paid $100.00 cash. I was told if I lost the card I could not get my $100.00 returned to me. A very odd policy, to say the least!
