Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was perfectly located on the trolley line, so if we didn’t walk, we were able to take the bus (which was running as the trolley). The staff was exceptional, the beds were very comfortable, and our room was just right for our needs.

United StatesOur biggest complaint was the this walls. The noise levels from the street were very loud until about two in the morning. Cars revving very loudly, very loud music, and there seemed to be no buffer from all of it. The bell from the front door, going off every time it opened could be heard from our 3rd floor room. Very thin walls. We even heard some romance from the room next to ours.

United StatesParking was a bit of a hassle(across the street), for the price, and only one entrance we could use. The refrigerator was not cold at all, even when thermostat was adjusted. It didn't look like the floor had been vacuumed (found ring laying slightly under a cabinet, which I turned in, and bits of debris on main traffic area in room). Was Not impressed with the coffee provided in the room, but we did get some downstairs in the morning.
Very friendly staff. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was quiet in the room. Good location (<10 minutes from the wedding we attended). Ample choices for breakfast. Except for the carpet, the room was clean and comfortable.

The room was big and the location was perfect for our plans. Lobby was secure and the rooms were clean. Nice having the refrigerator and large bathroom. The rail line ran right in front of the hotel and is free.

United StatesThe parking really isn't convenient at all. It's across the road, and the clerk had a hard time explaining it, which caused greater confusion for me, and to top it off, it was cold and rainy. I know they can't control the weather, but with clearer directions I wouldn't have had to go back out in it to repark my car. Breakfast wasn't what I was expecting from a nice hotel. Things were empty when we got down there about 9 (stays open till 10) and in the time we were there, it didn't appear anyone was even attempting to keep it full. I know this is petty, but I paid very good money for a nice hotel, and when I went to the bathroom the stool lid moved around on me. They had a too small plastic stool lid on this nice bathroom stool. Made me leary every time I had to sit on it. This sometimes happens at home, but I have control over that!
Clean and modern rooms. I normally don't like staying downtown in the middle of a city, but once in our room you didn't realize it.

United StatesFor some reason we only had one large towel in the bathroom and housekeeping attempted to walk into our room, after only knocking twice, no announcement and it was only 10am. Check out was 11am. I’m glad we had the door stopper on or he would have walked right in and we were just getting out of the shower. It definitely would not have been good.
I wasn’t sure where to park and ended up calling the hotel after driving around and spoke to Albie. He was at the front desk when I checked in and he was so helpful and friendly. Later, we stopped again at the desk because we had planned to Uber to T-Mobile because we had read that it was at least a 15 minute walk and it was cold. Albie was as excited as we were that we were going to see Pink in concert AND he told us a shortcut so we were able to get to T-Mobile in 5 minutes. He went above and beyond and saved us money by taking the time to share his knowledge with us. Every single worker at the hotel should be as helpful and friendly as Albie!! Thank you Albie!

United StatesTraffic on the street below can be a bit loud, but that is excpected for the location of the hotel. I could hear it, but it did not keep me up at night.
Room was excellent! Bed in the room was not against the wall back to the other rooms bed! I value that so much. Room was also big and spacious. Love the built in reading lights in the headboard! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, seamless check in. No real complaints with this one it is an excellent place in downtown KC!

United StatesThe TV remote didn't turn the set on & off, room 722. The staff came and assisted us. It had to be turned off & on manually. Maybe it needed to be re-programmed to the TV set.
No time to eat breakfast. Left for the MR340 at 6:00 am. Got there in the evening after boat drop off/registration at KAW Point. Ate at a nice restaurant across the street, "Street Car". Convenient to the race start venue. Parking felt safe & secure.
