Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was not mentioned when I booked the reservation OR on stated on there website ....that angered me. Because I personally called the hotel and spoke to the front desk. Yet they said nothing about the extra charged until I got there 😕

United StatesThey charged me for the room and then told me there would be an incidental hold on my card. They took $444.04 out of my account as a "hold" without my permission. I was told $100.00 would be on hold, which is understandable. So, $826.04 came out of my account, and that messed up my entire trip. When I called to ask them to remove the hold, they pretended like it didn't happen, told me to call my bank, and hung up on me. DO NOT expect any level of customer service from this hotel!!!! I have been a loyal Hampton guest for a long time, but I am reconsidering it now. The room was not super clean. There was no way to turn off the bathroom fan, so it constantly ran with a loud, obnoxious grumble. There was no shampoo, just conditioner and body lotion, so I purchased shampoo. There were no coffee cups at breakfast, and the eggs ran out at 9 am, but no one was there to replace them. I hate even writing this because everything could have been overlooked - it wasn't the best stay, but we managed - until they took $444.04 out of my account without my permission or knowledge, then didn't care when I called about it. Super disappointed.
We were in town for an event, and the hotel was close to where we needed to be.

United StatesBathroom tub was not cleaned at all. Clumps of dark hair everywhere. First day breakfast was not served until 10 as noted. Cooks stopped preparing food around 830. Second day another resident had to request a meat to be prepared. Only waffles, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy were hot foods.
Microwave and refrigerator in room. Location is right next to captain larrys and on main strip.

United StatesWhat I didn't like was the noise from some youngsters going in and out at night. Once they were done it was pretty much peaceful.
My stay was wonderful. The check-in/out greeters were wonderful and accommodating. It was in a good area, not too far from everything, but far enough from traffic.

United StatesThe hotel is very outdated and not as clean as I would expect it would be. It was loud and people was walking and playing music outside of my window. A couple was engaged into some unlawful activities that smelled from outside into my room. I was issued one room and another guest and I both felt uncomfortable about the location of the room due to the shoes(2 large men boots) outside of the room

He was ignorant to everything going on in town and was not willing to solve any issues. He stood under the no smoking sign outside the front door Smoking and checking his phone. He doesn’t belong in the hospitality business
