To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaI was disappointed the rate was $100 more per night just because it was Halloween weekend. We did not go to Galena for the parade and assumed that’s the reason the rate was higher.
Being close to the river was nice and the river walk. Hot tub was good distance away from the water park. Didn’t have a lot of kids jumping in.,

United States of AmericaCheck in was at 4, and the water park also closes at 4 on Sunday. It made it tough to fulfill a promise that was part of the original intention for the trip. Breakfast at Tony Roma’s was really strangely spread out. There was no one to ask about gluten safe options, and no readily apparent safe things like yogurts. I have a gluten allergy, so no assurance of safe food was a struggle.
Beautiful location. Front desk was super friendly, comfortable room and a nice stay.

When we realized it and called the front desk to get fresh sheets, we were told that it would be quite a while before we get them. After an hour, I finally went down to the front desk and stood there until they got me new sheets. By then It was 11 pm and we were pissed.
