The room is outdated. Also, we paid for an extra bed (rollaway bed) for the nights we would be there and were told they would take it later, but they never did. We also never received a refund for that. The pillows are so worn out and need to be replaced.

I loved how warm the pool was and how centric the hotel was. There were multiple places to eat and activities to do nearby. The rooms were clean.

The room was okay. I do realize it was pet friendly. The curtains were stained, dirty and gross. The wall clearly had a picture missing and the dirty walls around the frame showed that. Both doors were chewed on by previous guests and their dogs. When I used the only sink they had, hair balls floated up in the drain. It was okay, but not for $270 a night, for 2 nights, on a Thursday and a Friday. Feel like I could have gotten more for the money, but it met my needs adequately.

Location was fabulous for the adventure park. Super convenient. The indoor pool was fun for my son, and I enjoyed it too. The continental breakfast was yummy with muffins, yogurt, cereal, and coffee. Loved those easy food items.

I commented to the man behind the counter that I had recently spent 15 days going from my winter home to my summer home and at no time did I spend near this much money for a room. With that, I was disappointed that they did not at least have a hot breakfast. I noticed and missed the fact that they did not have a box of tissue in the room. Minor but noticeable.

Granddaughter loved the variety of structures in the pool. She liked the slide and playing basket ball with the other kids. The historic arcades in the basement were entertaining. Some did not work. I liked that the pinball machine gave everyone a small bouncy ball, though they were striving for the bigger one.

When we checked in the staff didn’t say much except where the elevators were. It would have been nice if they advertised the Glenwood Caverns park and hot springs or said there was a discount flyer in elevator. The breakfast mainly had pastries and not much healthy like eggs.

Location was so close to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and Iron Mountain Hot Springs! There was a 10 percent discount for these parks if you check flyer in elevator. We could also see Red Mountain in the background. It was probably a mile walk into town by crossing the pedestrian foot bridge but it was certainly doable. The indoor pool was also a highlight. We had never seen a water slide attached to a guest pool like that before!

They were in the middle of remodeling, so the elevator was down, and we were placed on the 4th floor, which was an unexpected headache. I may have missed that information at some point myself, but it was definitely not good timing for my stay.

The location and amount of privacy we enjoyed was great. I look forward to staying here again in the future, and for a longer stay. The staff was ok, and the room was also ok. Nothing really stood out as excellent, but nothing was so bad either.

Our bathtub didn’t drain properly so it’s like we were always showering in a puddle. The elevator was down and we were on the third floor, so it made coming and going a little harder. I also was expecting the pool to be a little deeper but the deepest it goes is 3ft 6in so it’s really just for small kids.

I really enjoyed the hot tub and the view.
