Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesAlthough the shared bathrooms are always clean, I still prefer to have my own bathroom in my own tent, ( I know I could have book the tent with the bathroom but I did not, it was a little pricey 😅). Trying to use the bathroom when you wake up from the middle of the night and leaving your tent to go to the bath house was nerve wrecking especially when the only light you have is your phone light 😆 Would not want to do that again! 😆 The place was a little too loud for me to go to sleep. Though they have no control over that, during our stay, you could hear different noises such as train sounds and heard a very loud "emergency" noise sound in the middle of the night which kind of freak us out! Until now I had no idea what that sound was! 😱 Food is not allow inside the tent because they are not trying to give any reasons to animals to come to your tent. cafe menu is good and food is delicious but it is very pricey.
The place is exactly what the pictures look on their website! Absolutely stunning! I love the "experience" of camping thru glamping with the Canvas. This place brought back my high school memories when I joined our school retreat! And my husband really loved it! He said, he would like to book again with under the canvas. 😊 Stuffs are very friendly and knowledgable about their services. free coffee and smores! The glacier west entrance is only 7 min drive. Very convenient.

United KingdomThere was some noise overnight, though it wasn’t too disruptive. Ear plugs were provided but we couldn’t really use them with smallish children in a separate tent. We enjoyed our stay and are glad we did it. But when it comes down to it, it’s a lot of money to sleep under canvas and have to walk outside to use the toilet in the night! 😊
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for us, helping out with bookings for the national park when we couldn’t get signal on our own phone. The site is lovely and the tents are really well done and beautiful. The he children loved staying in their own little pup tent. The evening activity with live music and s’mores round the fire pit was really special and again, the kids loved it.

United StatesThe tents are super cute. I loved the layout of the room and the camp feeling, while still having real beds. I liked that the community showers/toilets were still individual and private.

United StatesSome communication about the burn ban affecting the ability to heat the tent at night would have set better expectations prior to arrival.
Very convenient location to West Glacier entrance. Staff were friendly and had hiking poles to lend out! My daughter loved trying out some gear. The beds are very comfortable, I slept very well.

United StatesProperty was built way too close to the road. Road noise is a major distraction. It feels much more like a KOA than a glamping experience

United StatesIt is really close to the road, and that distracts from the whole idea of being away and remote. It's also quite pricey for what you get.

United StatesThere was nothing we encountered that made us turned off by our experience. We were sad to leave under canvas for a hotel room in Banff.
I liked the community feeling and the accessible grills for cooking. I liked the evening activities for kids and we loved every staff member. They were engaging and informative. They accommodated us like family. The tent itself became home after an evening and we loved starting the fire each morning to warm up our space. It's why we came here...Some people stayed in true tents with public bath facilities within a 30 second walk, but we opted for our own private bathroom attached to the tent. The bathroom was as good as any hotel I've ever stayed and the water in the pull string shower was blazing hot. The best aspect though for me is Embers! The dining options in Under Canvas is fantastic! You can eat good b/l/d and walk around with your own mixed cocktail whenever you'd like. That is a huge benefit when you are on the go in Glacier National Park.
