Absolutely nothing is unlikable of the stay we had. I would definitely recommend to friends and other family to stay here at this location. The place is comfortable and relaxing. We had no issues of feeling uncomfortable which is a extreme bonus being away from home.

The room was excellent. The accessories that were provided in the room were of great use and well appreciated. The view was incredible. The location was awesome. Being able to watch the sun go down and to being able to walk to where we wanted to go. Randy is a great asset to your resort and we are thankful for his kindness while we stayed.

There seems to be very little A/C in hotel common areas; the elevator is brutally warm with no airflow, and upon arriving on the 4th floor where our room was, we were hit with a wave of heat and humidity like no other. The pool is on the 4th floor and it is unbearably hot in the entire hallway. At one point we literally started dripping sweat from our foreheads while waiting for the elevator on that floor. The sole elevator is on the small side and is quite slow; it pauses for a long time before the doors open when it reaches the ground floor. We opted for the stairs most of the time, which is not feasible for many folks. There were many stains throughout the room (curtains, walls outside the bathroom, ceiling), and part of the blinds in the kitchen window were broken. After taking a look at the jets in the tub we opted to not use it because they did not seem to have been cleaned thoroughly enough. We also struggled with the curtains in the bedroom as they were incredibly susceptible to getting stuck. Some of the remodeling work was a little less than professional in our opinion (one of us being a contractor), as some caulking was peeling away from the surface and a few other areas of the room seemed to be done with "patch jobs." I empathize with the unhoused crisis many cities are facing, but there were quite a few unhoused folks right outside the hotel (both on the beach side and the road/alley side) at night. The parking structure itself is not too difficult to navigate (for reference we were in a Kia Sportage 2023), but some of the spots are INCREDIBLY tight when you factor in the cement pillars. A large SUV would likely have some trouble in the structure, though I will note that there seemed to be more space when you went to the top level of the garage. Despite all of the negatives mentioned, I do still believe that for the price this is a fine place to stay, especially if you don't plan on being inside very much.

The room itself was spacious and updated. The furniture seemed to be in good condition and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was well-stocked with cookware and utensils; it also had salt and pepper which was a nice touch. There were enough paper towels, linens, towels, and toilet paper for two people to stay 3 nights, but had there been more occupants or more nights stayed we would have needed more paper products. They even stocked several books on the bookshelf by the kitchen and provided a Bluetooth radio which was a nice touch. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and polite--the staff makes this place. The location is ideal, being right in the middle of the stretch of beach, and there is a convenient beach entrance steps away from the hotel. They lock the main doors after 11:00 pm which does add an extra layer of security. The view is perfect, especially in the morning to watch the sunrise. We also reserved the complimentary bikes a couple of mornings and it was wonderful to be able to ride along the boardwalk to get coffee.

Issues at check in. Although my confirmation through booking.com had my reservations for three consecutive days, the hotel had two separate reservations. The evening clerk, said she had caught the issue, and all I needed to do, was to come back in the morning and sign the reservation for the next 2 days. When I went down the next morning, the morning clerk said I would have to check out of my room and move to a different room. She was very sarcastic, and said that that is how the hotel business was and that it was not uncommon for one to move rooms. I firmly explained, that I would not check out of my room and into another room, as I was told the evening before the issue had resolved. The morning clerk, was very sarcastic, and insisted that I move rooms. The expectation was that I would leave at checkout, and then wait until 3:00 p.m. to check back in. I asked what I would be expected to do with my belongings, and the food I had purchased, I was told just put them in your car, etc. Even the general manager sent me a text stating I had to move rooms. Again, I showed the morning clerk, my three consecutive days through booking.com. she said that was my issue, and booking.coms issue not hers. After making a fuss, (a large fuss) things were worked out, but only because the evening clerk came back in and took care of the situation. I wish I had her name, as she was wonderful. I have booked through booking.com for many vacations, and this was the first issue I had like this one.

The layout of the room was great. Bedroom was separated from living room. The kitchen had everything needed if you wanted to cook in.

Horrible chlorine smell in hallway wafting up from pool on fourth floor and very hot in the hall. Hall spaces and elevator could use updating.

Location! Great space and large ocean view balcony. Little suite was very roomy with functional kitchen. Housekeeping and maintenance staff were friendly and helpful. All front desk staff were great except one person who seemed to be unhappy and less than helpful.

The location of the restaurant on property is perfect with outdoor seating on the boardwalk. However, the food was pretty mediocre and we only had breakfast which is kind of hard not to do well with. Servers were all very friendly.

While you can tell this hotel is on the older side, the size and configuration of the room was fantastic. It was basically a full kitchen. The balcony was long stretching past both the living room and the bedroom. Housekeeping did an excellent job as everything was extremely clean and well-maintained. Very much enjoyed bikes were available on property at no charge as we grabbed one every day to ride them down the boardwalk.

It was a great room more than what I was expecting, I loved the jacuzzi being in my room, a kitchen with a full size refrigerator,range and everything needed to do some cooking. I was really impressed with having access to the balcony from the living room and bedroom .I had wanted a weekend getaway to just sit back and relax and take a stroll on the beach morning and evening and I must say that I wasn't disappointed even when it rained.
