Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Statesthe mattress on the sleeper sofa was sufficient but could be better. I felt the springs under the thin mattress. I wish there would be a sleeper sofa with a nice comfortable mattress. I think the toilets could be updated to ones that are a little bit higher. we remodeled our home and put toilets that are just slightly higher.
helpful staff. clean, very good breakfast provided. they didn’t have decaffeinated coffee but the front desk person made a fresh pot just for us!

United StatesThe pool was way too cold for season. It was like taking an ice bath. The hot tub didn’t work, and that was not noted until after check-in. The rooms are outdated. There was no counters pace for the bathroom in the walls and everything were so thin that you could hear everything, Door, slamming in the hallway, people walking up and down the hallway.
It’s extremely outdated you could hear every noise and we did have a gentleman that was below us that complained about my children after we walked in the room for about two minutes. The pool was extremely freezing, and the hot tub was also broken. The morning staff was great, but the staff that was there in the evening was not so friendly.

United StatesThere was an issue while checking in and out with the system saying I owed money when it had been paid in full when booked. The beds were HORRIBLY uncomfortable. The internet was extremely slow and kept disconnecting. Twice I got ice out of the ice machine that had something black in it, unsure if it was plastic or mold.
Good location and friendly staff. I loved the size and setup of my room.

United KingdomThe room was not good. The air conditioning was so noisy it kept us awake as did the neon sign outside the window. The sink was blocked and full of foul water. Our complaints were not addressed and the manager promised a discount yet charged us the full price which was terrible value

United StatesThe front staff night (ASB)auditor clerk immediately started telling us how she lost her children to Cps talking non stop telling us she lost her kids due to meth was a felon but her sister the manager got her the job! The night auditor clerk (ASB) proceeded to tell us when she drinks her pants come off an then referred to my guest as a 12 year old . My guest replied I’m 33. Clerk (ASB) then asked if I was his mother, while letting her hair down an un-buttoning her blouse a few buttons. The night auditor (ASB) took almost an hour to check us in while people waited an she did not know how to operate the system an take my Apple Pay or card was shaking an talking so fast she appeared to not be able to function an using meth as a substance abuse counselor it was obvious this individual was using something or just plain unprofessional! I paid cash an got my receipt. an she still wouldn’t stop talking about her sexual nature an drug history! We walked off she was still going on ! We checked into our room went to dinner bowling out for the night upon returning and coming in we went by the front desk my guest said he was going to go to the spa we had a bottle of whiskey which she saw an I was going to join in a few but didn’t say so to her! The night auditor (ASB) heard us an stated as we came in through the front entrance after our night out in front of other guests she too was closing the front desk an was going to go get into the hot tub too while on the job?! I was shocked an another guest told her what ?! that’s unprofessional ! I also told her it was unprofessional not believing (ASB) clerk would actually do so. My guest went to the hot tub I was in the room a minute when I came back down to meet my guest in the hot tub the night auditor (ASB) was in the hot tub my guest jumped out an ran from her the clerk (ASB) an the situation!

United StatesWe paid exorbitant price because ours was last but one room left for the night. On top of that, the WiFi did not work at all. Not just for us, none of the guests were able to connect to WiFi. Everyone was at the front desk trying to see if they could get it resolved. But alas.
The room and the bathrooms were clean. As a plus, they did give us late checkout by an hour past their deadline.
