Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe only thing I didn't like was they didn't have a microwave in the room and I was on the second floor having to go downstairs to warm food. Then having to wait until a few people finish.
I love the fact that I was greeted by the front desk with one amazing young man, he told me on the phone that he would make my check in easy so I could go get rest, he even made a joke that I didn't catch on to at first but it was funny. They had complimentary bottled water for the guests.

United StatesVehicle parking $9 per night and our Vehicle got broken into. Staff expressed concern...wink wink. Police no help and seemed to know who the perpetrator was but no help. Parking lot " security" useless. Manager never supplied security video because camera not positioned correctly and blocked by trees. NOT THE FIRST BREAKIN AT THIS PROPERTY!. Managed comped us one nights stay which did not begin to cover the $4-5 THOUSAND loss.
Facilities were good, breakfast very good. Location fair. Not far from convention center.

Our experience started most excellently. We arrived at 7 am and after an all-night flight, we were beat. Even though check-in was not going to be until 3 pm, the night manager checked us in immediately and we were able to get our bags put in the room and grab some breakfast. The breakfast was top-notch! It was well stocked, had a very large variety of food, was clean and comfortable and modern. The breakfast staff was on top of everything there. This hotel was well-run, well-managed, and kind. Our stay was most comfortable. We were there for 5 days.

United StatesI booked the wrong Fairfield and they wouldn’t let me cancel for some reason. Nobody still haven’t explain why I couldn’t cancel and make reservation at the right Marriott with my family. I couldn’t use my credit card I booked the room with also.
The staff was friendly. I’m sorry I have to give it a bad rating because the staff were very polite and friendly.

United StatesIt was a little difficult to find as it was hidden towards the back of the cluster of hotels in the same complex.
It was clean and close to everything. We drove 5 hours to attend the Midieval Times and the welcoming and friendliness of the receiving staff made it a nice arrival. Nick, the friendly assistant manager, checked us in and gave us a nice room in “the basement” or did he mean the dungeon?! LOL. His funny sense of humor made our day! The best part of this hotel, which we didn't know was we could literally walk over to the Midieval Times castle as it shared the same fence.
