We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Costa RicaThe photos show a more updated accomodation. The reality is that the hotel really needs improvements in the infrastructure. The bathtub was unpainted and did not drain well, the bathroom did not have a functional extractor fan, the smell each time we enter the hotel was ugly. They left large bags of garbage on the third floor next to the elevator for more than a day. The air conditioner control was with ants due to cereal leftovers.

Our room was across from the trash can and it was always full. Fridge was making a knocking sounds every 15 mins.

IrelandUpon arrival there they required a $100 deposit for the room. So the total cost was actually the booked room plus $100 deposit. I looked through booking.com and the hotel website beforehand and there was no mention of a $100 deposit. Most hotels require deposit too and they mention it on their website and their third parties. So extended stay america needs to update their requirements or else the required deposit upon arrival at the hotel is going to push away any and every potential guest. Their hotels are already doing that in terms of how the hotels aren't being looked after
Its close to a few chain restaurants, fast foods, 7 elven, walmart, bus. The receptionist was helpful and got me my room despite the trouble with the deposit.

United States of AmericaPillows gave me a crook and my shoulders are very tense from my sleep. I also keep scratching even after shower. I finally notice red marks when I wake up from sleep. Smell . It smells so bad on the elevator in the lobby in the room in the hallways every where just stinks like a bad sewer or something. Front desk young boy was so rude didnt make since he wore a mask for the smell instead of trying to disguise the smell at least for new checkins.
Quiet comfortable didn’t see any roaches like the bad reviews say on 3rd floor so it was great had issue checking in but management was so nice to fix it.

United States of Americakey card didn’t work on day one of our stay . had to make multiple a total of 4 keys throughout the stay. was told keys get wiped out if close to phones and that was through another customer the staff didn’t even tell us that.pull out couch was no mattress and someone previous hid the cushion in it all chewed up . staff was sub par other than one women the last two nights she was awesome to what she had .asked for a hair dryer and they insisted we had one and we did not we checked up and down the room. asked for the tea coffee maker and was unavailable the entire time which was supposed to be In the room as well. asked for a simple tooth brush even and they did not have that or nail clippers . items , simple items were never available or in stock. other customers didn’t make me comfortable with large gatherings with no security and someone attacking an unknown female in her car screaming at us when we were just trying to get in the hotel.
Across the highway was Walmart , dollar tree , dennys and McDonald’s plus a 7even amongst other things .
