Had a major problem with the way they charged. When I got home there were 4 holds on my account for triple the cost of the stay. When I called the hotel they sais they did not process it 3 times and said it was a problem with the debit card. This was not the case and just a lame excuse. I will not be staying there again.

Area not great. Coming from a state where COVID is taken seriously we were disappointed that few of the staff including breakfast room wore masks.

There was a fruit loop on one of the couches and it stayed there the whole time we were there. Stains on the couches made it look unatractive. The tub kept getting flooded every time you would take a shower (not a bath but a regular shower) because the pipes were clogged.

Location, location, location!! Staff was very helpful and attentive.

The room was not as clean as I would have liked or expected . There was paper and some other things on the floor so I wondered if it had been vacuumed. The bathroom had cracked tile on the floor, a toilet seat that was clean but looked "well used" and it had what looked like burn marks on the seat ( it was a non smoking room). Overall the room seemed dated and a bit dingy. For what I paid I expected better but for one night at least it was comfortable.

Breakfast was OK. The pm front desk manager was excellent along with the morning front desk manager. They both get high ratings!

The window shades are awful PLEASE replaced with blackout curtains 😕 I wanted to rest but I couldn't once the sun came up it was over for me no rest that's my only complaint

The smell in the hallway OMG smells amazing I asked the cleaning person what's the name of the air freshener such a refreshing smell. staff was amazing breakfast was great too

Everything this place was absolutely terrible. Never going back to this place.

Nothing everything about this place was a mess and it was in probably the worst shape of any hotel I've stayed at. It was under construction the entire time and was unfit to have people there. This place needs shut down and fixed before it should be rented.

This place is in the middle of a renovation and should be completely closed. The room was out of date and in bad shape, a dirty cup was on the floor, and, in the morning, in the hallway, bits of insulation and who knows what else all around. We had a hard time finding it because it looks closed and the side entrance is only marked by a handwritten “We are open” sign. When the renovation is complete, this might be a “maybe” place but stay away until then. I’ve traveled a lot for work to some pretty unglamorous places and this was still top 3 worst ever.

The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good. The man who checked us in was nice.

Bare minimum of everything, very scratchy towels, none of the little things (like a TV station guide), said breakfast included but nothing ( not even energy bars), email explaining some short comings came long after commitment with no refund allowed, construction everywhere so very hard to find. First thought when seeing hotel in person was it was a scam. They were maintaining a very high price tag for a night in spite of lack of perks. We stayed in multiple hotels during our trip and this was the worst. Redeeming value was the employee we met. She was professional and kind.

We were unable to cancel our reservation and we charged for the night. My husband had a medical emergency causing a visit to the ER. After this, we needed to go directly home, skipping some of our designated sightseeing stops. we would be passing through Elyria much earlier than originally planned. We attempted to cancel several days in advance but, in the hotels defense, we missed the preset cancellation deadline.

The person who answered the telephone at the property was very nice, but unable to help us with our issue.

The run down facility is at the start of renovating. This was NOT stated in the property description. All the down sides of an old, run down property. None of the upsides of the renovation.
