Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

my teen daughters and I were in town to see Hamilton. we don’t often travel alone. we had a ton of questions for Scott at the front desk and he was very gracious. he recommended The Alamo for a movie and told which way to walk, assuring us we would be safe on our own. he told us we could call the hotel at any time if we felt u safe and someone would pick us up. He watched for us to get back safely and just went above and beyond to care for us.

United StatesEVERY staff member was wonderful! The valet gentlemen were kind and quick. The front desk staff were helpful and super accommodating to every need and friendly to our excited kids. The cleaning staff were always smiling and friendly. The breakfast cook was so quick and made delicious food. One of the best stays our family of 6 has ever had. A great experience for us and our 4 kids under the age of 10!

United StatesWe didn't have enough towels in our room for everyone. We asked for a couple more at the front desk and were told they would be right up. After 45 minutes, we called back down and were told again that they were coming right up with them, but they never showed. My wife and I had to share a towel! Location is in a nice spot but can hear everything going on in town, making it difficult to sleep.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was much better than many I've had at other hotels. Staff was very friendly and eager to help for the most part. The beds were very comfortable just as described on the website.

United StatesThe pool water appeared murky. They said it would be shocked overnight but the next day it didn’t look any better so my kids didn’t swim much. These were teen girls and they weren’t having it.
Staff were nice and friendly for the most part. I guess as helpful as they could be. Room was pleasant and the bed was comfortable.

United StatesI didn’t like that my room was never cleaned for the 3 days I was there when asked if I could have turn over service I was refused and told they only do it every 3 days. The rooftop bar needs security there are some unsavory characters walking in off the street coming in.
I loved the location of the property and the upkeep. I appreciate the front desk staff for being polite and accommodating my first room smelled like cigarettes I was quickly given another room and given a drink coupon for the rooftop bar.

United StatesOnly option for parking was Paid, either Valet or building parking, that is charged $28/day. Metered street parking was the only other option.
The location was perfect as a launching point to see the city. It is directly across from Alamo Drafthouse and Food Hall that is fun. The breakfast was good and the size of the room was great. The staff was friendly and helpful.
