Location for the front, pier, boardwalk and seafront restaurants excellent. Five minute walk at most. There was coffee and breakfast stuff at the reception office all day. Very friendly staff

The room we were given was on a bench Mo out in the building with windows in opposite corners. All guests walking by could very easily see in the windows as they were right off the sidewalk. There was no privacy. Other rooms did not give the same layout. The hotel could add translucent film to the lower half of the windows so when you are lying in bed people walking by can’t see the guests inside.

Too much light. There's light stream in from every window, every door. And the bright green lights on the electrical outlets were annoying. The bed was hard as a rock. The thermostat wouldn't allow us to turn up the heat.

It's cute and I loved the little courtyard with the table and chairs. The walk-in shower would be nice for someone disabled.

Hand rails and a separate towel rack would be helpful in the bathroom. In my opinion, there should be some oceanic art on the walls to tie the room together to reflect the town. I noticed that the walls are not sound proof so the maintenance crew and the cleaning service personal can be heard talking and moving about, which is not the greatest when sleeping in. I am not sure if this can be helped. Overall, a very satisfying stay and a very responsive staff.

The location is great. The homeyness of the room I stayed in was very nice. Loved the wood slat ceiling and the skylights, a very nice touch. The spa is a great feature, just a little difficult to get into.

The hill! Haha! After a long day at the boardwalk or beach the parking lot has a steep incline back up to the rooms, but you muscle through it. The bathrooms could use more towel bars & hooks. The sofa bed mattresses are not flat & could use some upgrading.

Location was fantastic! For families, it had great options to make meals in the room, and plenty of space. Walking distance to the boardwalk, pier, and good choices for food. Parking was private and we felt safe and comfortable.

The bed could have been more comfortable. There was no outlet on the right side of the bed and the bedside lamp was left unplugged.

I loved the way the property was updated but embraced the charm and style of the original mid-century design. I grew up in Santa Cruz and remember this location needing much "love" over the years. It's great seeing it "reborn."

Just three things, the tub looked like it had jets but the button was broken and did not work, the carpet was not clean, we ended up putting towels down on the carpet so our feet wouldn't become black with grime and the bedside lamp didn't work.

Room looked charming and nice, beds were comfy and it was an overall good experience. We only stayed one night so any issues with the room were just delt with and not mentioned while we stayed. The pool was enjoyable and warm all evening, and the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. A+ FOR THE STAFF!

Walking up the incline was a bit cumbersome over a couple trips but liked the exercise, no fear of a wave 🌊 To be honest it felt a bit stuck between decades with nothing extraordinary other than the patio.

I had a patio, wasn't viewable private but none the least I had a patio to myself. The distance was wonderful, close to the beach without the crowd, however at the top of a steep incline. A comfortable shower, a bit firm of a bed in a snug room. For the price it was top notch for access and affordable for a holiday weekend.

Was a bit bummed that the ice machine wasnt working but luckily there was a store around the corner! I also wished the Wifi signal was better. In our room we were smack dab in the middle and got at best 2 bars, if that.

My only issue with the Inn was that the bed was extremely hard and by night 3 I was way too sore. But that was manageable.

We didn’t love staying in the room right next to house keeping because we ended up hearing their chatter in the morning.

The location was incredible! Could not be more ideal, at the beach in under a minute, the wharf, all so great! Loved the pool and the fire pit hang out feature too!

The room was really small which meant there was nowhere to put our suitcases without them being in the way. The back door was really difficult to lock too so once we had locked it, we didn't bother opening it again.

Staff were friendly and there was snacks and coffee available in the lobby. The property was located far enough away from the boardwalk that you couldn't hear the loud noise. There is a useful store and a nice restaurant situated right next to the property.
