Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is fantastic, super convenient for exploring the city. Our room was spacious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated that they reached out via WhatsApp during our stay to check if everything was going well—nice personal touch! They also stored our luggage for us at check-in and check-out, which made things a lot easier. The Nespresso machine in the room was an absolute lifesaver, especially for those early mornings. We did have an issue with the sink in the bathroom, but as soon as I mentioned it, they sent a plumber right away and got it sorted. Overall, it was a smooth, pleasant experience! Would definitely stay again.

I lost my phone that day and was unable to utilise any hotel service. I wish that I could use the hotel phone or email to contact someone to help me out.

The location is incredible, the staff are fantastic, and I love that they have a deal with a parking facility about a 5 minute walk away!

United KingdomI stayed at the Dylan hotel with my two daughters for 4 nights. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and I thought the communication via WhatsApp was a great idea and very useful. The location was perfect for our needs and only being a 5 minute walk to Grand Central station was really good. Shops and time square are all in walking distance. Central Park only a 30 min walk. If you are staying in NY for a short break then this hotel ticks all the boxes.

The room was very spacious and newly renovated. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. Renovation works are still ongoing but there was no noise or any kind of nuisance. The staff members were all very kind and helped me with my special needs.
