Room was a bit tired and a lot of money for the appearance. Bathroom needs updating. Set up for breakfast was a bit annoying whereby it was run by a separate company and choices included in the price were limited.

Our room didn’t have a view (wall of next house), however was very quite. No breakfast available, but coffee and tea maker in room

Great central location in near Grand Central Terminal. The rooms were quite spacious and had everything that we needed.

The room was dark. I booked 2 nights with breakfast but the restaurant was closed.

Location was great, I could visit the Central station, NY public library and broadway by walk.

Great staff, location, and value. We live in CT and train in to NYC on weekends. Our time is spent outside the hotel. The Dylan’s staff is fantastic, the hotel rooms are quiet, clean, and spacious for NYC. It is a great value.

For $400 AUD per night I was disappointed in the size and condition of the room. The furnishings were old. The towel rack in the bathroom is in a position where towels can easily fall, and did fall into the toilet bowl. the wash basin was cracked. The bed was however, comfortable and large, BUT, the bedding, as like many hotels throughout the world, consideration is not given to suitable bedding when the temperature is hot, as it has been since we left home in Mid May. For its money I would have liked a room not looking across to another building so that we had to keep our curtains closed so not observed by other people. The restaurant connected to the hotel is extremely overpriced for the quality of its food (breakfast). Two simple and mediocre breakfasts with drip coffee cost nearly $80 AUD. Although quite a few negatives I would probably consider staying there again with stipulations made on room and bedding etc.

Location to Mid Town locations, including Broadway, Times Square, and Grand Central Station. Friendly and helpful staff.

There are small things in the room that could be upgraded or adjusted that would make the room more functional. Also, one of the mattresses in our room was worn and not comfortable for 2 sleepers.

Location was great, close to Grand Central Terminal, Public Library, an easy walk to several places. Nice quiet block. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms larger than expected. Good value. Plenty of food options nearby. The history of the building was interesting as well.

The room had a bit of carpet smell and it is possible to hear some noise from outside. Apart from that all great.

Great location!! Beautiful hotel. The room are spacious and very comfortable. Bed and shower are very good. Nice room decor too. It is easy to go everywhere from this hotel. I love that the place has history related to Thomas Edson, which was an unexpected bonus.

Rooms are very small and has no view from windows except brick walls. Feels very claustrophobic. Pricey for the kind of room.

It's centrally located and clean. They provide nice coffee machines in the room with a selection of coffee.. Service is good. It's got a history.

First room got windows to nowhere but requested change was without issues. Deposit returned after 11 days. Carpet could be cleaner.

We booked a room for 2 adults & our 13 year old daughter. The room only had one bed on arrival so we ended up with a fold up bed. There was absolutely no way 3 people would fit in one bed. I also had to pay $300 damage deposit but have not yet received this back despite settling bill & checking out on 16th June.
