Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe hotel has closed the sauna permanently and renovations were happening to the fitness center when we stayed June 8-10. The images of the pool on booking.com were taken either the day it was completed or got the Photoshop treatment. The glass windows were hazy, the pool had a weird metal bottom which lends to my belief that the water depth is inaccurate, it's a step ladder entrance so I could see a heavy set, disabled, or nervous person a little unsure about getting in and out. I did have to fling some floating hair clumps out of the pool too. I'm not sure how warm the pool would be in colder months but the room has many heaters on the walls. The plumbing in our room was off. The tub had a slow drain and the toilet flushed needed to be held down for the duration of the flush. I didn't feel the need to complain to the front desk about it but I did let them know at check out so someone could do a repair, I also noticed what appeared to be blood splatter near the windows on the wooden valence, note for the photos the valence is painted wood not metal so I cannot be rust. The breakfast buffet was $24 for adults and it seemed very high for the spread. A la carte is an option as well but it wasn't advertised when we went to the breakfast room. The food options were very similar to places that offer complimentary breakfast so the $24/seat seemed excessive. Knowing what I know now, I would have dined at a local eatery. Self Parking was $38 a night. I think having to pay for parking any time I stay at a hotel is ridiculous but it does seem like this particular garage might not have been owned by the hotel. You hotel room key is your ticket to the garage and you can swipe in and out as many times as you need to during the stay which is nice. I did not see a valet option which was fine, my husband hates using a valet.
My son loved the cookie upon arrival and they had regular and allergen friendly options. If you are going to Philly for anything Kimmel Center of the Arts related, PERFECT location. The Academy of Music was directly across from the hotel. The pool was a nice temperature that didn't require too much acclimation. The depth was posted as 4ft but I question that. My 7 year old was able to touch the bottom flat footed and still have his neck and shoulders of out of the water. He is still learning to swim so whatever height the pool was, was PERFECT for him. The pillows in the room were fantastic if you like softer, more pliable down style pillows. They were my favorite part of the room. The bacon was delicious.

United States of AmericaA little rust stain in tub but rest of room was beautiful. Had a corner room overlooking city which was fun but ended up being really noisy throughout the day and even until like 12:30 am (drag racing sounds , horns etc ) I realize it’s a city though and to insulate the room from outside noise isn’t possible if you want a view of city.
Large lobby, good food at on site restaurant and very conveniently located for shows and other activities. Had its own garage with easy access.

United States of AmericaThe room we had this time, wasn't like the room we had in June, the bathroom was a lot smaller than before, water was leaking from the toilet, so we walked into a wet bathroom floor, but no biggie. the ceiling in the room itself had like dark lines going across it, that didn't bother us too much, but other than that the room was " okay" for it just being for the night. oh, and the parking lot attendant, was very rude and unwelcoming.
The front desk staff was AMAZING! the young lady we had was awesome, she checked us in and gave us our cookies and we were on our way, The view we had was great, but the next time we stay I will get a lower-level room, lol, maybe not. lol
