To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaFront desk set up makes it difficult to get to agents. Pillar in middle.makes it hard to see. Often there were 3 people behind the desk but only 1 helping. It's a busy place and there should be a better process for getting to someone. Elevators are slow. Both sets are on same call button system so while I pushed the buttons for the one I am in front of the other one comes and someone else gets the elevator. Flow for both these areas needs improvement Beds weren't the most comfortable.
Lots of choices for breakfast buffet Bellman were very nice and helpful with information Hotel was pretty clean

AustraliaWe arrived and there were five people checking in, it took us almost 40 minutes with staff that were really quite unpleasant. We were then advised the rooftop wasn't available (only one person in our group was told this) which was disappointing but not the end of the world. The lifts take forever so add on about 15 mins each time. The rooms are getting tired but the beds are comfortable and free coffee and tea is good. Our friend who had booked with us arrived a day after and was told her booking was cancelled without explanation (advised they tried to call and email, then said they didn't have their email address to send them the cancellation) and provided no help as to where else to stay (not even the other partner locations). The per night charge is not refunded for about 30 days which seems a lot given most is 7-10 days. It feels not great writing a negative review however the front desk team really were unpleasant and it does not give a good welcome or impression.
The price was ok for the location - walking distance to subway, a great coffee place and pizza shop next door. The rooms are a good size if travelling solo too. The cleaning team are really friendly.

United States of AmericaI didn't like the elevator wait time...I understand it's a busy place..sometimes yr waiting a good 15 minutes...then when u get in there it's like everyone is trying to get in so yr in there like sardines..and then it's hot in there...no microwave or refrigerator...no ice on the odd level floor...u have to go to the even floor..u get there and it's not working...
When we went to check in, it was way earlier than our check in time but they still let us check in...they greeted us with smiles..very welcoming...they took our bags up to our room for us...buffet breakfast is good....location is good...

United States of AmericaWe tried walking down the B staircase from our 6th floor roomto the lobby. There was no access to the lobby, and we couldn't find any exit that got us to either the lobby or outdoors. This a serious fire hazard. If we had tried to use the B staircase during a fire we'd be toast. Totally unacceptable.. We subsequently checked out the A staircase and that was ok. But all the signs indicated that the B staircase was a usable fire exit. Truly dangerous. Shame!

Really thankful for the bellhops! They were always giving recommendations and one gave us a recommendation to which bus to catch to go to the airport and he saved us so much time and money! They really went above and beyond and the room views were outstanding! Will stay again!
