No closer our room. I know other rooms have one as this was our 3rd stay there. We were there for a wedding complete with tuxedo and formal dress and there was no place to hang it. Shocking. It also seems like the price is double what we’ve paid in the past. Too bad

The sliding glass doors into the room felt a little unsafe. Seems like someone could very easily pick the lock and get inside. Also, no daily room cleaning.

Location relative to downtown Estes Park and only a 15 minute drive to RMNP. Clean, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Rooms felt newly renovated.

A few minor things that we could see for improvement would be to have the location of the television changed - it was sitting on the dresser in a distant corner in the room where it could not be viewed by one of the beds; it should be mounted on the wall that directly faces both beds. We didn't go to Estes Park to watch television; however after a long day of hiking it might have been nice to watch a movie at night, but we couldn't see the TV. We would have also liked to have had a roll-up curtain on the window that is on the door that goes out to the balcony. The sun comes in that window very early in the morning and woke us up and the light comes in until late at night (in the summer). The rest of the room had blackout curtains which were nice.

The lodge was quaint and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was exceptional as it was less than a half mile to walk to the main street in Estes Park on a walking path. We had a room with nice big windows and a small balcony with 2 chairs that had a view of the pond and golf course where elk were seen every day. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was a nice size and looked like it was recently updated. Even though our room backed to the main highway, we did not hear any noise if we kept our windows shut. The air conditioner worked well and kept the room cool, although it was a little bit noisy while running. The basic continental breakfast was handy in the morning.

Room was very tight and not user friendly. Didn't like the location of room up by highway. There was nowhere to put suitcases, nowhere to put toiletries. Also the balcony needs more comfortable chairs with arms and a table.

Two things I wish would be different-- dedicated shampoo and soap (they had a combined soap + shampoo, a minor issue) and the shades. The shade worked great for blocking out sun, but having a secondary shade that allowed light in while obscuring view would be appreciated. I felt like I had to either let passerby look directly into the room through the glass door or to block out all light.

Everything was very clean and worked well. Facilities appear like they have been retrofit well, smelled fresh. Backs up to a golf course but it was quiet and the best part was that it had a huge amount of birds from the nearby bird sanctuary. Tons of species for anyone into that-- white crown sparrows, broad billed hummingbird, cliff swallows and many others.

The walls were a bit thin and I could hear my neighbors and the people staying above me.

Sliding glass door was the main entry to the room. No stopper for any drains so I had to use one bought at a local hardware store to take a bath.

The value was excellent and they are pet friendly for a reasonable fee. The check-in staff was kind and helped with anything we needed.

It was hard finding the entrance to the driveway, especially at night. Something a little bigger and more obvious to travel-weary newcomers would be very helpful.

The whole setting was very nice, and I especially enjoyed my room, which was in a nice, quiet location, with a great view of the little pond and the elk!

The doors are only sliding glass and someone was able to get it open even with it being locked. Also you can hear absolutely everything above you at all times. We had a terrible upstairs “neighbor” which wasn’t the properties fault and they handled it really well.

We stayed in a dog friendly room (101) right under the office and where they do continental breakfast. We were woken up at 6:10 by someone walking around up there, then from 7 on by guests. Not a great design!

The room was very hot—we ended up turning on the air conditioner, so we could sleep.
