Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesShower bottom was very slippery and no anti slip protection! Wall safe was pulled off of the wall and sitting on the floor! No desk clerk! A new video monitor for talking to a remote person for check in /out! Not easy to understand when they talk!
Elevator was not working morning of day one and we were on the 3rd floor! I am disabled and this was not good!

United StatesThe computer kiosk to check-in is not good. The people on the screen are ok and do a fine job. But the process itself is very impersonal and glitches a little. Some people like the personal touch. Plus the thing crashed on the people before me and needed to be rebooted. This took a fair amount of time to fix.
The property is good for what I need. Just a place to hang my hat and sleep.

United StatesWe had to get up and out early during our stay both mornings and we were told we couldn’t take any breakfast to go (1 coffee and 2 yogurts between the two of us). Thought this was ridiculous. This was something included in the price of the room and we were not told before booking the room nor at check in that this was a rule. If we had known we weren’t going to get breakfast we would not have stayed here. We also never received the extra towels we asked for.
Breakfast sucked because we couldn’t have any to take with us at 6:30 am when we had to leave the hotel for our event each day.

United StatesCheck in and check out processes were VERY impersonal. Used virtual technology. No staff at the hotel except housekeeping in the morning. No one at the front desk when needed. Very impersonal! Seems more focused on how they can keep more profits (money) for corporate, than provide customer service. Bathtub was very slippery with no effort to provide a non-slip surface. Had to ask for a bathmat to put in the tub to prevent possibility of falling.
Housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate...sparse..very little choices with protein, basically all carbs. Room was clean. Nothing more can be said.

Strangest experience we’ve ever had. I remote kiosk instead of a front desk check-in. Really hard to get the feeling of being a valued guest without a real personal experience. The room was acceptable and clean, but the lack of a single employee was unnerving and put me off and uncomfortable. I would avoid this type of hospitality in the future.

United StatesThe place is old and smelled musty. The carpet in the hallway (2nd floor) was dirty and old. The hotel is on the back of a gas station, so it is not visible, and it is kind of hard to be seen and to be accessed.

United StatesThe building is in bad shape , everything is worn out, has a musty, moldy smell inside. The bathrooms in the lobby were locked up. There is no front desk personal. The position has been outsourced and you have to speak with some guy in India via screen at the reception. The location is also bad in a shady area.
Not much to like about it except the room was relatively clean.

United StatesI didn't like going up stairs. I didn't like that I couldn't park under the sun roof to put my stuff in so I got totally wet and drenched. I don't like the fact that the sign in was with a kiosk instead of a real person. I hate that I had to wait so long because so many people were before me.

United StatesI don’t care for the kiosk check in. It’s impersonal and takes substantially longer to check than with a human being. I went to take a shower, and there hairs on the shower head and hair in the blow dryer. Also, attempted to get ice from the machine, was not working, attempted to get snacks from the vending machine, not working. I called “0” to get the front desk, it rings 3 times than disconnected. You have to call the hotel directly from your cell phone to get service. Not enough towels and washcloths for a 2 day stay. The furniture in the room looks like it came from a thrift store. All scratched and falling apart
