Hotel needs upgrade. Laminate trim on 1 nightstand and refrigerator cabinet was missing. Drawer on refrigerator cabonet was off track and sagging. Bathroom was nice and clean but carpet is dated and old. Paint on wall was scraped and needs touch up paint. Room needs a book that shows hotel policy and local attractions and informs guests of breakfast provided.

The lady in charge of the breakfast room was disappointed that the power to the waffle irons was out of commission. She was awaiting the arrival of a qualified circuit-breaker snapper-onner. As a guest I was unqualified to perform that task. Nice apple tree in the parking lot.... these apples need to be stored a while though to allow their sugars to convert.

Would have liked bigger pillows instead of 3 small ones, and some of the towels had stains on them.

It is easy to find. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable with the normal amenities like microwave, fridge, hair dryer and soap, shampoo and conditioner provided as well as wet/ dirty clothes take home bag which is definitely a plus. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection to meet everyone’s needs. It is a very nice family friendly hotel with pets excepted as well.

the hotel is quite out-dated appearance wise. During my five day stay, I didn’t have anybody come in and clean the room, including bins. The pool was quite dirty as well. Phone didn’t work in room. Would be more than fine for a couple of days, but wouldn’t stay longer.

Staff were amazing and so helpful! Especially with arranging taxi services to airport. The location is very close to the airport, as well as downtown Bangor! The room was clean as well.

the new ,well known managment hasn't done a a complete maintenance to the new purchase so the room is out dated . the parking lot need a massive re doing.

The rooms weren’t clean the beds were dirty and I got bug bites. The fridge was so frozen solid that it didn’t work. Shower was gross.

There was dirty needles and other drug paraphernalia in the room, so it wasn't cleaned properly before my arrival. I called the front desk, who had maintenance remove them but I was barely offered and apology

It’s dated and there’s still some kinks being worked out I think. Small things like our bed was made really poorly—the sheet was hanging off the end onto the floor and the pillows were all thrown in the middle of the bed. I’m confident they’ll work it out though.

The staff is really friendly and accommodating. The location is great. The new owners took over the property about 2 months ago, so they’re getting it back on track apparently. I think it’s going to be a great spot once they have more time with it!

I have stayed here many times over the past 10 years and it’s sad there have been no updates over the years. The property hasn’t been kept up well and it’s showing its age.

Access was not automatic. Carpets old and sticky. Lobby looks bad needs upgrade. Pillows are uncomfortable. Sink in room not in washroom. Old furniture old safe. The parking lot has too many pot holes. Pool looks green water seems un kept .

I hate bashing this hotel. Because the staff are amazing the front desk personnel, the housekeeping, and the owners were amazing. But this hotel is old and it needs a lot of updating. It has carpet throughout, which needs to be replaced to tile it smells the rooms around the pool smell a little musty, it was what I needed to be close to the airport but the hotel is dated and the carpet is so bad. It needs to be steam cleaned three times. The room was comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is extremely small. It was for the night.
