The breakfast was too basic. The coffee was 'ok'. The dinner menu was nothing to get excited about. When sitting to the bar, having to watch the bartender run back and forth to cook in the kitchen took away from the bar experience. The room could use a darkening shade, as the lights from outside shone in our room all night. The in room coffee maker could use updating.

I loved the staff. They were so friendly and willing to help us. Naya and Reynard were exceptional when interacting with us - a warm smile and a warm conversation made my stay there so much better.

Deposit issue: The hotel management took the deposit from the credit card and did not release it. After 2-3 weeks, when I contacted, the usual response was “check your bank”. There was no issue with the bank, after a few email exchanges, suddenly I received my money. Obviously the hotel did not release the money. Now the worst part is that the hotel management never even felt the need to say “sorry”. They simply went quiet. So my advice is to carefully check if you get your deposit refunded or not.

Great location at DuPont circle with access to buses and metro. Shops and restaurants within reach . One can do real walking tour of the White House and the other tourist places from here

The location is great. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go after arriving at the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. We also liked the availability of tea at the bar area. Finally, the parking was very convenient.

One elevator is slower than the other. There's nothing to complain about for this property.

The rooms are only cleaned every second day. I was not informed of this on check in nor are there signs in the room or information on the booking receipt. When I rang the front desk about it, he hung up on me

The room was spacious, however it did not have any closet or wardrobe to put your clothes in. Also, we booked room for 3 people (2 adults 1 child) with breakfast included rate. However, basically every morning of the stay it was challenge to get what we paid for. First they were surprised we have breakfast included, then we received breakfast vouchers - but only two - so basically no food for child. Every voucher gives you one coffee/tea (no espresso or similar, only filter coffee), one juice/water and one meal from menu. Quality of food was good, but if you are on a vacation you want to relax and not to argue every morning about breakfast. In the end, we always got breakfast also for our child for free, but the "voucher" concept does not work well. We would suggest changing the concept or not to offer breakfast included rates at all.

Very stylish hotel with big modern rooms. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel and all of the design features, such as USB sockets and big flat screen tv at the room. It also had a great desk.
