We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesHot tub wasn't working. We had booked rooms way ahead of time with two beds and then none were available, had to use rooms with one king bed.
The staff called to update us that the rooms we booked weren't available, that there were only king rooms available. We appreciated the time to decide what we would do. The sofa beds in the king rooms turned out to be big enough for two children, so it all worked out well. We loved the big rooms with big desk and bench and side table, easy to unpack and use our things without feeling cluttered.

United StatesThe coffee and hot water at breakfast were tepid. The carpet in the halls on the third floor were full of spots, and the shower needed to be replaced or at least scrubbed thoroughly. Basically, the floor we saw badly needed renovation. The elevators were dirty too.
Breakfast offerings were good. The staff was friendly. The lobby was updated, nice. The beds were comfortable.

United StatesThere were no forks! Made it difficult to enjoy the waffle. Staff said they were expecting some maybe the day we were there for breakfast. Didn't help anyone there .... and there is a Wal-mart next door. The morning we left, upon saying goodbye and thank you, the reply from the front desk person (who was seated), was literally a grunt. No reply at all when we said good morning.

United Stateswhen a room is requested and reservations are made via the website or other, a question should be asked about what type of room is requested. I am a light sleeper and I am a member of another chain. this room was on the first floor which I usually never stay at. One that level is noisy as it is on street level, I always usually wake up as I am a light sleeper. I almost told my husband that I wanted to leave. He said, "No" let's give it a try. other than that all was good. Lastly, 2 bath towels didn't cut it. 4 would have been nice as I had to go to the front desk and request 2 more.
the staff was friendly and smiling. that is a plus in my book. The room was clean but just a bit noisy. What I thought was a great touch was that when I went up front to buy some bottled water and person at the front stated that they were on the house. AWESOME!!!
