We specifically wanted a non-smoking facility because I have asthma. No one followed the smoking rules and the rules were not enforced. I had to hold my breath in so many areas of the hotel. NOT GOOD!!!!

We liked that everything was walking distance and there was a large variety. Parking was excellent. The hotel was reasonably clean and cared for.

The air conditioner in room 210 needs maintenance. After a short time maybe 15 minutes or so it makes a very loud rumbling sound that keeps you awake, and it needs to be shut off and put on again to eliminate the rumbling for a short time. The outdoor steps with the big spaces between them are old and we didn't feel safe walking down them. We avoided those steps and didn't want to lose our balance. They need replacing as do the bathrooms. Too small and the showers didn't work quite right. These things need to be addressed if the company wants people to return. thank you

The parking was tight. There were spaces for every room. It was somewhat difficult to maneuver cars. Most people were helpful. It’s tight but didn’t take away from the location or the motel. We would come back to this hotel.

The hotel was in a great location and it was quiet. We loved having access to the room we were in upstairs from all around the building. We had a pool at the hotel and the hotel offered beach passes to the Seaside Park ocean beach also. We were within walking distance to the boardwalk and all of the things om the Seaside Boardwalk also. We were about 6 minutes driving from Island State Park. We could sea the bay and ocean when we walked outside our room upstairs.

Only downside is its a very old cinderblock building (rooms have been admittedly updated somewhat) and therefore there are limited lighting fixtures and outlets. Not a problem for us since we were only staying 2 nights.

Wonderful location steps to the boardwalk and beach. Lovely pool. Responsive and kind staff.

No coffee maker in room and the lobby didn't open until 8am to get coffee there. The bathtub was so slippery, I fell getting out of shower. The staff in the lobby were friendly except one of them we saw on one day seemed like we were bothering her when we needed help with the ice machine.

The room was big and clean. Close to boardwalk.

Found a couple bugs, but not bed bugs, plus a cobweb or two. Slow drain in bathroom sink. Some light switches didn't seem to work. Couldn't open window for fresh air, but, instead, used noisy A/C. No in-room coffee nor hair dryer.

Location was very good, as was the view from the balcony. Nice setup in the room. Free coffee. Provided information when requested. Beds were comfortable and house cleaning rep was very hospitable. Able to continue parking for a while after checkout. Microwave and refrigerator in excellent condition.

I have multiple sclerosis and unfortunately I ended up getting a second floor room. it is not disability friendly and the stairs were difficult to manage. I was afraid that I would slip and fall down the stairs. Fortunately I had my husband with me. The room we had was smaller than expected, and it rained nonstop the whole time we were there. It would also help if the parking spaces were numbered, because it got busy on Saturday night and I had to park on the far side of the building instead of near our room. it not a bad place, it just isn’t meant for people like me.

The kitchen area was locked until a certain time in the morning - 8am if memory serves - even though we were told that coffee and tea were available at any time. Not a big deal, but we did have to trek to the nearest breakfast shack for our morning coffee.

Location, comfy room, two comfortable beds to accommodate my parents and me. Helpful staff. Sea view.

The room always seemed dark. The bathroom tub/shower was awkward and had a problematic spigot. Lack of earlier hours to lobby for coffee and bagels for early risers. Mediocrity. It was perfectly okay, however, I do not believe it warranted the price. Disappointedly, I would not stay there again.

The bathroom steamed up very quickly, even with using lukewarm water to shower. The shower head was low (I’m only 5’6” and it was low for me), and it sprayed on the floor. The tub did not drain well at all-by the time you finished showering you were in water to your ankles and the bathroom floor had quite a bit as well.

Great location, we were able to walk wherever we wanted to go. The coffee and bagels were a nice bonus. The staff was very friendly.

The beds & room were good however ...the property was a bit tired & showing its age. However it also showed that repairs had been done. The room lacked a coffee maker & a freezer in the mini fridge. There was a microwave, but only plastic cups, so I couldn't make a cup of tea. The heated pool was cold.

the location was fantastic! We could see the dunes & ocean across the street from inside our room! There was coffee, a toaster & bagels available in the morning in the lobby. There was a microwave & mini fridge in the room. A parking spot for the car was included for free. Free beach passes were included, however you had to leave a $70.00 deposit for each one (which was the cost of a seasonal beach pass).
