We really struggled with the heat in the room. First night's stay was miserable, we couldn't figure out the thermostat, on the lowest setting it was still too hot. The next morning we found the air conditioner. The heat in the bath area was still hot but opening the window helped. Also had a plugged toilet, we called the desk and a lady came to the door and handed me a plunger. She didn't even ask if we needed help with getting the toilet fixed. Other than these 2 issues, the rest was fine.

I didn't have breakfast, but my partner did. He said it was excellent.

The price for the room was outrageous! Highest I've paid for in the past 4 years. Thought things would have been better considering the price but they weren't. I reserved the room in January 2024 and even requested a cot...they replied in June 2024 that they would do their best to make sure it was in the room BUT it was not. Trying to talk to desk staff was hit or miss...some were very polite but others were not. We were put in a room on the side where it looks like a country road motel so yes, the price seemed too much for the room. No phones in the room which is weird. We won't be staying here again.

Could use an alarm clock in the room. Stayed in the pines.

The breakfast was sparse. No eggs, no jam or peanut butter for the toast. No sugar free syrup for the waffles. Would like to see fat free milk. Motels need to realize that there are diabetics. I ended up bringing my own bread and peanut butter for breakfast and hard boiled egg.

It amazes me that a motel of this size has only two waffle cookers. When the only hot food is waffles and sausage I would think that they would at least provide a few more cookers. This motel has at least four buildings and a few cabins, so a least a couple hundred rooms. Two waffle makers and 8 tables for a 2 1/2 hour breakfast window. I think they could do better with that.

The rooms are pretty outdated and ours kinda smelled musty, it was a little expensive considering the room but I think prices were up because of the bridge walk and the holiday weekend

I liked the outdoor area for families, the fire pit, volleyball and tetherball was nice. We were there for the Labor Day bridge walk and had to leave before breakfast hours, the staff was nice enough to put out a few breakfast items for walkers to have before they left

When you use the fire pit it’s pretty much just sitting in a parking lot.

The outside grounds were very pretty and well cared for, but the outside of the building itself is in need of some cleaning. There was bird poop on window screens and cobwebs on the stairs and stairway window. The bathroom area was very small. The entrance to the property and the parking area was horrible. Very rough and bumpy.

The room was clean and the pool area was large and also clean.

The beds were hard and older. Also, the bedding was aged.

Could hear upstairs person walking above. I would suggest getting 2nd floor room. Bed was just a tad bit harder than I'm used too but I would not let that dissuade your decision to stay here. Would I stay again .... yes.

The bed in the king jacuzzi suite was broke down from use.

The staff at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. We originally had the king jacuzzi suite but the bed was pretty worn down (the jacuzzi looked nice though). We asked to switch rooms and he switched us to a double queen room which was comfy. He was concerned he couldn't give us another jacuzzi suite cuz they were full but we were totally ok with it. Overall, nice room, nice staff, clean pool/hot tub area.

Rooms dimly lit. Shower curtain too long and extended into the floor of the tub so it was hard to avoid stepping on it.
