The room had a fantastic view to the ocean and we could admire the sunrise even laying in the bad! Very appreciated the included breakfast that we could have under the amazing sun in the inner courtyard of the hotel. We enjoyed also the included Yoga practice open air every morning: the only sound you could ear is the ocean!

The hot water was funky and took a long time to get to us. Our rooms were right over the restaurant.

Location right on the beach. There was a monk seal who slept on the beach the two nights we were there.

The facilities were a bit tired and run down- rusted AC units everywhere, broken lounges and pot plants. Fire pit not in use. Expensive accom but relatively comparable to other properties. Pool lounges could be more comfortable. Pool closed until midday for pressure washing on one day of our stay with no compensation. One of the concierge staff was very rude upon check in, no information given, talking to her friend on the phone. Other staff were nice though.

Good location in Kapaa, walking distance to supermarkets and restaurants. Grab and go breakfast was good, bikes for use as well. Beautiful ocean view. Restaurant on site was nice.

The vent in the bathroom does not work because the window is shut to avoid the bugs to come in. The bathroom is a bit hotter than the bedroom which is very well cooled by the AC.

Great view from the balcony. We really enjoyed it. There is a fridge in the room but no microwave. We went to the breakfast room to heat up some soup and took them back to the room. They provides grab and go packages, yogurt and fruits free in the morning. That was good.

I wish there was coffee available at the breakfast. And I wish it was easier to find certain channels on the TV.

Room had a continuous "damp" smell. No room cleaning service (if not requested 24 hours in advance). No guarded place where you can leave your luggage after checkout. Room has a bit of a "dated" look.

Receptionist Stacey on Check in, she made us feel unwelcome. This continued throughout our stay. This lady obviously dislikes the English. Rude and unwelcoming. We think she needs some lessons in Customer Service towards British people She was completely different with Americans This completely spoiled our first impressions.

They did not complete our request to remove our trash from our room. This didnt impact our stay, we just did it ourselves.

Our room flooded a couple of nights so kind of a hassle..between towels dialing up the mess and need for industrial fan. Security lady was very rude as well as one of the front desk ladies. The rest of the front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful

As promised we got the side view of the ocean and it was perfect seeing the sun rise and set. The breakfast was nothing to special more like kids breakfast.

Bed was harder than we like. Light from AC unit in the room was very bright and right next to the bed.

This hotel is great value (taking into account how expensive Hawaii is generally). It has a lovely relaxed feel and beautiful view from the room with sea breezes. I enjoyed this hotel very much. It also has a Starbucks and supermarket 5 minutes walk away which is very convenient. There’s a morning yoga class which was great too.

The lounge chairs around the property were missing straps and really need to be replaced as they are important for guests to enjoy the stay. A lot could be done to the landscaping (replace dead and sick plants) it’s Hawaii after all. Would appreciate housekeeping without a hassle, sure why it’s not automatically offered but me carting my towels to the front desk was not cool. Biggest issue was the older grumpy woman at the front desk someone with this attitude should not be in a customer service position! I read a lot reviews where staff was mentioned negatively and I immediately recognized why☹️

Loved to daily yoga and the room was very comfortable.

The main downside was that you had to additionally request maid service/cleaning so generated rubbish, which wasn’t removed, and the beds weren’t otherwise made. We also felt that there wasn’t enough commitment to recycling, especially re breakfast, where there wasn’t a recycling bin and so much unnecessary landfill waste generated - sad on such a beautiful island.

Good location, nice staff and great to have a pool (although we didn’t actually use it). The grab and go breakfast was something we didn’t know was included, but was a fantastic way to start our day.
