Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe sink in bathroom was difficult to use, the water was splashing all around. We ended up washing our hands and brushing teeth in the kitchenette. Since it is just behind the door, it was not a big deal And if someone expects a view, there was no view, just a backyard. (For us it was okay, I was there alone with two little kids and it even felt for me safer)

United StatesThe bbq grill needs updating as the grill was rusty and they had no cleaning brush. The owners house is too close for comfort. Didn't sit outside because of this as we didn't feel at ease.
The cabin itself was very nice. Refrigerator was good size for cabin. No stove. Keurig didn't work but the coffee maker did. Bed was comfortable.

The cabin was very cute and clean. It had everything we needed. The front porch was great for drinking my morning coffee and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The shower was great, with great water pressure. We saw the owner going to his car and he chatted with us briefly.

FranceI have 2 suggestions. Firstly, it was difficult to find. My gps told me "you have arrived" however I could not tell which house was correct and initially turned into the neighbours with the flag pole with thevassault rifle on it and "we will not submit". I then tried the next house, but you must drive behind the house without knowing if you ate trespassing. In Texas, especially with the neighbours flag, some travelers could wonder if they will be shot. Secondly, as this is remote, it would be nice to have a basic like a small carton of lobg conserve milk in.the fridge. It will not go off but be available in case your guests take milk with their coffee.
I came for a wedding, a very quick trip. This means I really did not get to enjoy the place as much as others. However, I can say I appreciated the cleanliness and the thoughtful decoration.

United StatesSome of the kitchen and bathroom amenities were a bit quirky but everything worked. It was put together as best as it could be. We loved it. The driveway was a little scary the first few times we drove up. It felt like you could easily drive off the cliff. I got used to it though.
