The room bathtub was not working properly. Water was not draining. I called the front desk but no one came to fix it

The picture on the website for the lobby is not that of the actual hotel. The area is in an industrial part of town. The parking lot was littered with cigarette butts. The ice machine was down and the refrigerator didn’t work.

I stepped on a rug tack or something at the foot of my bed when I was changing clothes and it punctured my foot. I went to the front desk to tell them and ask for a first aid kit cause my foot was bleeding and I was in pain. The guy at the front desk acted ambivalent. Didn't apologize to me or ask me any questions about the tack. Hopefully I don't get tetanus.

The hotel is right next to a busy highway, therefore it's pretty noisy in the room. I was not able to place the deadbolt on my door, it didn't line up with the doorjam. There were no charging stations in the room. The cold water faucet at the sink was difficult to shut off. Overall, the hotel is older, but relatively clean.

The locaction of the hotel is good. There are restaurants close by and it's not too far from the airport...about 20 minutes. There is plenty of self parking.

The pancake batter looked disgusting. It was watery and there were dark chunks in it. There was an empty pan that had eggs in it. No one was available to ask about it.

The room had old, stained carpet and cracked tile in bathroom. The breakfast wasn't stocked. One piece of bread for toast, two bagels and one donut. Eggs were "wet". When I came back later, it was the same with over an hour left of serving time.

The property is unfortunately getting old as you can tell by looking at the infrastructure inside and outside of the building, and the elevator and the rooms seem a little outdated.

The gentleman who checked my boyfriend and I in was very helpful and accommodating. The first room we were assigned to smelled heavily of cigarette smoke- afterwards, we were assigned to the jacuzzi suite which we enjoyed a lot better. The beds were also comfortable.

Room smelt smoky, for a non smoking room, but probably damp. Miserable attitude of desk manager regarding breakfast time. He did his 'job' but was inflexible when we had (literally) just missed breakfast at 9am. He pointed out (rightly) that he had told us when breakfast ended when we checked in but for us, travelling from the UK was 3am! Our focus was food and sleep and we did not take in that level of detail.! His inflexible attitude coloured our first stop in USA and our stay. In the UK we would call it a jobsworth attitude which quite frankly has no place in the hospitality industry. We will steer away from this chain in future if this is how they train their staff - hardly customer service!

I did not feel safe. Exterior door was open. It did not lock. My room had mold, graffiti windows and peephole that was graffitied a horror face on it . My door unlocked when I got out of the shower. I called the front desk 2x She was un-empathetic. I put a table and ironing board in front of the door to ensure safety. The cleaning employee was mopping with guest towels tied to a pole. No sugar free options for breakfast. Comfort bed and pillow is all you need then it’ll work for you.

They double charged me, the desk people were very rude, the place reeks of old cigarette smoke including the room. The room was not clean the carpets were stained the bathroom was moldy. The facility was pretty unsafe to the point I had to take my wife to another hotel because I didn’t want her staying there. Website pictures are a complete fantasy nowhere near what this place is.
