Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

My wife and I stayed at the Brickhouse Loft while attending our daughters graduation at IU Bloomington, only 25-30 minute drive to campus and less congested especially around graduation. Hotel was in a great location, accessible to downtown shops & coffee house. We felt right at home the minute we walked into the entry area. Our room was absolutely beautiful! Although we didn't get to spend a lot of time there we will definitely be back, we have another child attending IU so we'll need a place to stay for future graduation.

United StatesAlthough there was hardly anything wrong but here are some minor constructive criticisms of the place: 1) The internet connection was a little sketchy on the two televisions, 2) The floors are squeaky, we lived on the first floor and we could constantly hear noises of people walking upstairs, maybe carpeting can solve that?, 3) The air-conditioning system was right outside our bedroom window which made the room very noisy whenever it switched on.
We always enjoy a place where the host pays attention to small details. It is an ideal place for family or couples to stay. The place is secure and has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. We didn't need to contact host for anything which is always a good sign.

United StatesBrickhouse Loft is an unexpected gem in Martinsville. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. We knew we were staying in an upstairs room and that there was no elevator. Next time - and there will be a next time - we'll try to make reservations far enough in advance to book a first floor room. The rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable and tech friendly.
