Just that the toilets are in the dorm rooms, makes it noisy when ppl are moving in and out of the dorm room. But i get that thats what u get when staying in a dorm

Location was excellent, abit out of town and in nature but not too far out. Love the hot tub and pool. Lots of stuff provided in the common area for cooking and cleaning.

The only slight downside is that the lodges do not have great sound proofing between them. I was in a set of about 10 which were all based on the same wooden flooring, there were some excited kids with heavy footsteps and jumping around which made a bit of noise. I had some ear plugs and that was fine for me. Not a major problem, but maybe pack some just in case.

Amazing place, great location both in the start to the mountains but only 10 mins to Boulder. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lodges all seem to be in one level with parking in front then straight on to a small river with some seating areas on a small amount of grass which was a great place to chill or eat outside. Also a barbecue was set up if you wanted it. Hot tub was great. The location was perfect for me to access the trails locally, had a great time at the lodge and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Need a headlamp or flashlight to see inside the hostel rooms most of the time. It was good to be dark inside rooms, but hadn't realized the real need for bringing a light.

Great location. Lodge tucked in a nice little pocket of trees. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Beautiful Stay just outside of Boulder!

The room had a pretty consistent musty smell. Not sure if this has to do with location or lack of open windows, but we did notice that throughout our stay. I would add that the locks on the doors may need to be updated. They functioned correctly, but as a young female traveler, I always feel better with more sturdy, complex and modern locks.

The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean. The location was ideal- just outside of Boulder, but in the mountains, so it was quiet and beautiful! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, as well- plus, you can't beat the price. We very much enjoyed our time! Would recommend for travelers looking for a quiet, in-expensive hotel in Boulder that really invites you into nature: think summer-camp vibes.

Walls were a bit thin. I was very, very disappointed that the hot tub & pool were out of service. There was nothing that mentioned this - even on the Lodge’s main website.

Quiet location, babbling stream, nestled amongst the trees, birds, wildlife. Although some might call it out of date, I liked the rustic feel. It was especially nice to retreat to this cooler environment to escape a couple of hot, hot afternoons in Boulder.

The bathroom was in really bad shape. Rusty stains on the wall, water damage outside the shower, and signs of mold on the ceiling. Badly needs an update, and a vent in the bathroom.

The location was amazing, and the bed was comfortable. Sitting outside on the front porch listening to the water. Dog friendly.

The hot tub was closed when we went. Would’ve taken this place from a 9/10 to an 11/10

The site was beautiful and perfectly located. I loved the dog areas and how everything was lit up at night. I loved the area across the river. My husband and I did some morning stretches there with our coffee and the river made it perfectly calming.

The hotel is about 4 miles outside of Boulder, which if you want a glimpse of the canyon is wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful with Uber etc info for getting forth into town as I was there for a graduation, not an outdoor experience. I stayed in a 2-queen bed room, with a very nice sized kitchen and table separated from the bedroom with an open wall. This was a bonus as it gave the impression of two rooms. The bathroom was the typical toilet separated from sink area which I prefer. Outside was gorgeous. A very short walk from the main lodge with an outdoor seating area and fire pit. Inside has seating area around the fireplace and table area for seating and having a coffee. Breakfast is not provided though a breakfast sandwich is sold along with beer, wine and other non-alcoholic drinks. My only suggestion was to sell coffee creamer for later night arrivals who do not bring food as there is excellent coffee from a local producer in the rooms. All in all it was great.

The kitchenette wasn't very well stocked to cater for 5 people e.g. no glasses, no bowls. Also, we booked for 5 people but only had two beds (queen bed and bunks). The three kids shared the bunk bed, but it wasn't ideal.

The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the location next to local trails. The common bar area was very welcoming with the gas fire and couches. The beds were comfortable with nice linen.

Under our suite there was the laundry room and we were surprised that laundry had been doing at nights. Looks like the dryer noise had been woken us up at night from time to time. The parking space near the suite is just plain soil with no gravel - so our shoes were dirty all the rainy time. So, be ready for a such thing. There is a kitchen in the suite with plates, pans and cups but we could not find pots, spoons and forks there - just keep in mind it if you want to cook by yourself (what we did and we brought all those things with us). I believe that staff could help with that too. During 4 days of our staying there was nobody to came in to check the garbage cans or for some cleaning. And we were so happy that we did not put our towels to the floor (as it was mentioned on the walls notice) to get them replaced. But we also enjoyed having our privacy :) And I wanna say big thank you folks who cleaned the suite up for us as we asked during booking - we are allergic to pets. So, it was really clean - so appreciate it, guys! Generally we really enjoyed the place and our stay there. And definitely will come back again recommending it to our friends. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay there and maybe some our notes could be helpful to others. The place has a wonderful location. It is located very close to amenities and civilization of the nearest city but remote enough to feel the breath of nature. My big bold plus for the place is the full absence of the mobile network coverage (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile). I am very sensitive to EMF due to be working for that industry for a long time, and I was looking for a such place to stay especially at nights to get the real rest. So this place is the gem in my case. The staff is very friendly and responsive - so appreciate your help, folks! The best thing we were looking at the place was private and quiet stay - and we could relatively get it having the King suite at this time of the year when the majority of the outdoor activities are not available due to the weather. But during the peak season time it probably would not work - our suite was located just opposite the swimming pool with a hot tub and near the office with the common area.

The manager of the place was pretty uptight. He seemed to be an uncomfortable, unhappy person who allowed that to interfere with his ability to do his job. Even some staff members seemed uncomfortable when he was on site. If I left my service animal, an older dog, for one minute, he threw a fit, figuratively speaking. He made it seem like more of an infraction than it really was. Since the dog is older and requires more sleep than most dogs, the manager was essentially showing absolutely no concern for my dog or myself. It was as though he was on too much of a "power trip" that he forgot how to simply do his job. If one does not have an animal with him, then what I wrote above probably would not apply to them.

For the most part, the staff was friendly and helpful. The accomodations and rooms were very nice and I liked the location
