Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyNothing whatsoever.
Everything! The room was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hot tub on the balcony was awesome. The view of Thunder Mountain from the balcony is good but partially obstructed by vegetation and aspect. The bread, supplied daily, was a very nice touch as well as being delicious! The “extras” - soft drinks, snacks, water, cookies etc were all included. There was a fridge in the room for all the free drinks. The freshly cooked breakfast served in the room was delicious. All the staff were excellent especially Innkeeper Zak. This is a small hotel with just 6 rooms (I think?) and has a lovely ambience. Parking is free and on-site. Sedona itself, the Red Rock area, is wonderfully scenic. We had an outstanding stay and thoroughly recommend this fantastic hotel.

United StatesThere were some electrical issues in the room. The microwave had been plugged into a power strip and tripped the circuit breaker. The jacuzzi power didn't work on one of the two days. It seems like the electrical system needs an update.
Breakfast was very good. Room had nice touches such as freshly baked bread, jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and complimentary snacks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is good, near a very good hiking trail.

United StatesThere isn't anything that the inn could improve on. It seems so well-run, and the facility is lovely. There are a couple of things I would've wanted to read as a guest ahead of time. First, the inn is behind the fire station in West Sedona and that was a little off-putting at first. Not a bad spot; just not what we expected. The other is personal preference...we are a couple in our 60's/70's and the shower in the Sacred Feather room is completely open and part of the bedroom...so that was a little awkward for us! ;)
The inn is fantastic. Our room was charming, and the breakfast was amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had the Sacred Feather room with a view of the mountains and a huge deck with hot tub.

United StatesMy only complaint would be the lack of lighting for the bathroom vanity, makes it difficult to see when getting ready.
This spot really caters to hosting their guests. We got a personal overview of how our stay works and we're escorted to our room, which was very welcoming. They really want you to make yourself at home. The breakfast was amazing and so was the hot tub that came with the room. Over 30 years in Arizona and I find this gem of a place right before moving out of state; wish I found it sooner because I would have stayed here for every visit from Phoenix. This is a must stay spot, great for those that want a beautiful room without staying in a crowed resort.

United StatesWe had a problem with the hot tub the second night. The breaker got tripped. They came right away to fix, but the hot tub wouldn’t get past 97 degrees. Also more towels would have helped or a towel warmer.
The room was amazing. The view, the breakfast every morning.

United StatesSelf-check-in -- I like to meet the people operating the facility to learn about the area etc. One of our rooms (the Sante Fe) was cold at nigh.
The rooms at the Inn were very nice and well-supplied. We enjoyed the little bistro table in the room along with the nice surprise of a fresh loaf of bread upon arrival. The Inn is also close to several trail-heads near Thunder Mountain that we took advantage of.

United StatesVery good communication before we even got to the facility. Once we arrived and entered our room we were greeted with fresh baked bread. The room was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The mini fridge was stocked with water, a variety of sodas, creamer and butter and jelly for the fresh baked bread. There were assorted snacks on the top of the refrigerator s as well. We were in the Santa Fe room which had a large jetted tub, fireplace and comfortable queen bed. There was a table and two chairs where we were served breakfast every morning. The breakfasts every morning were absolutely delicious! It was a beautiful and relaxing place to come back to every afternoon after our hikes and adventures!

United StatesEverything was amazing and so many details to make it welcoming. The property is very serene and relaxing. The room was extremely cute. The private hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring. The fresh baked bread is such a nice bonus. Also, breakfast can be taken in the main lodge or in your room so you can be as social or secluded as you want.
