We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We were happy that the only hotel in the area that was closest to Madison was a decent stay. Because it could have been terrible. Meet expectations, we arrived near midnight and overslept the check out by 15 minutes, no hassle.

NorwayListing said breakfast was included and sign on breakfast door said it was open 6-9 am. I checked at 6:15 and again at 6:45 and it was locked and dark. Nobody was around to ask about it. It would have been nice if I had been told when I checked in, or if there was a sign on the breakfast room door. It would have been a nice touch if there had been more coffee pods in the room if there wasn't breakfast. :)
I arrived early and they allowed me to check in. Everyone was friendly and bed was comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe facilities had wear & tear of a building in need of an update. The room seemed mostly clean, but the shower curtain had mildew on it, which makes me suspect that it isn't washed between guests. My window faced a childcare center and only had blackout curtains. So I had to keep the curtains closed and lights on in the morning. The room was advertised as "Breakfast Included" on Booking.com, but there is no breakfast available at this time. It did not seem to be a good value once I arrived.
It was nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in my room. Evansville has limited restaurant options on a weeknight.

United States of AmericaWhere we entered, the trash was overflowing. The hotel had a funky smell. No elevator. No breakfast as advertised! Way overpriced for location and no breakfast on a Sunday even! The TV remote could not control volume.

United States of AmericaThe pillows were very flat and lumpy which made for an uncomfortable night of sleep. There was a small bottle of shampoo but no soap for washing hands or showering was provided. The shower curtain had mildew spots which makes me wonder how well things are being cleaned between stays.
We did not eat the breakfast but it looked to have fruit, cereal and a bread option at least. The bed was comfortable and being king size was plenty of room to spread out. A gas station, dollar store and grocery store are a very short walk from the hotel.

United States of AmericaWhen we got to our room after check-in, the door was propped open. We were scared to go in. When I turned the shower off, the handle came off in my hand and we could not turn it off at all. There were only 2 single cup coffees, both decaf and no breakfast due to covid although it was probably still in the price of the room.
The room was clean and beds were comfy. It was fairly quiet. The front desk staff was friendly.

United States of AmericaNot the cheapest hotel but it’s close to work for me, and work covers the cost. Good staff, clean place and decent location (just out of town but right next to a gas station and McDonald’s). I think this is the only hotel in Evansville so it’s safe to say this is probably the best one here.
