Too many exterior steps to get to our 2nd floor room.

Breakfast entrees were different every day. Location was very central to many restaurants and shops.

The 49 stairs are NO joke! But that's probably more of an US thing. Lol The water pressure for the Jacuzzi tub was a little lacking and the in-room waterfall didn't seem to be working. But none of those was truly a negative. We ABSOLUTELY enjoyed our stay!

Our cabin was lovely, it was semi-private but had a fantastic view! The room was spacious and the furniture was comfortable. We were in walking distance from just about everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend!

The decking going up the stairs could probably be repaired. Water pressure wasnt good but it was to be expected given the location and elevation

I enjoyed having a different experience from a basic hotel room. Getting to be in a cabin overlooking the town was a nice change a definitely would go again.

The only gripe we had was the older smell that came from the room, but that was honestly to be expected for a older room with a hot tub inside of it. We bought a candle from a store downtown and that really helped.

I had a nice weekend getaway with my wife and we had a wonderful time. The place it charming and right in the middle of the main stretch in Helen, everything is walking distance from here! The staff was warm and welcoming. The view was nice and we loved the hot tub! Food was amazing as well.

We were fortunate to be on the second floor but could be lots of steps to other rooms.

The hosts - Terry and Angie were so welcoming ! When we left we felt like we left Friends. The lodge is extremely clean , the tub was sparkling clean and the bed was super comfy . Breakfast was fantastic home Cooked every morning ! Can’t say enough good things about this place

Stairs to cabins were challenging, but were fine if you are fit.

Driveway a bit steep and limited parking space but we got there early enough to get a good spot that was easy to pull out from. We just stayed parked and walked everywhere. This was an older place obviously but the staff made it warm and welcoming.

Wonderful location with an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The staff, mostly family I think, was over the top welcoming us and making us feel at home. The lady (Angie I think?) we interacted mostly with carried our suitcases up the stairs for us, got the TV adjusted so we were connected to movie channels. She even made a picture for us before we left. Breakfast was delicious! Bacon, perfect scrambled eggs, apple pancakes, and other items. We served ourselves as the girls continued cooking making sure there was plenty for all.

We loved our stay! We had a group of friends come with us for Oktoberfest. The location was perfect. The themed rooms are so much fun and the breakfast was delicious.

Nothing negative, the entire stay was wonderful.

Loved the location, the entire property felt like home. The morning breakfast was so thoughtful and filling. Home cooked breakfast fantastic.

The property is a work in progress. At first look it was very junky and a little run down but workers on the property were busy trying to make the place look better.

Angie and Christie were very attentive and made us feel at home. Breakfast was great. The location was spot on.

This was the 1st vacation my girlfriend Laurie and I took since we’ve been together since January 2024. I highly recommend this because of the true “Southern Hospitality” you experience. Located conveniently in the heart of Helen. The breakfast (Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, etc.) was AMAZING and is cooked with love.❤️ The service all together was 5+ stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+++++ and it really has that family atmosphere. The owner and employees go above and beyond to accommodate you however they can and we loved it so much we have already booked another stay in the same cabin in January 2025.
