Nothing negative, the entire stay was wonderful.

Loved the location, the entire property felt like home. The morning breakfast was so thoughtful and filling. Home cooked breakfast fantastic.

The property is a work in progress. At first look it was very junky and a little run down but workers on the property were busy trying to make the place look better.

Angie and Christie were very attentive and made us feel at home. Breakfast was great. The location was spot on.

This was the 1st vacation my girlfriend Laurie and I took since we’ve been together since January 2024. I highly recommend this because of the true “Southern Hospitality” you experience. Located conveniently in the heart of Helen. The breakfast (Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, etc.) was AMAZING and is cooked with love.❤️ The service all together was 5+ stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+++++ and it really has that family atmosphere. The owner and employees go above and beyond to accommodate you however they can and we loved it so much we have already booked another stay in the same cabin in January 2025.

Parking is tough, but that is not the owners fault. They are on the side of a mountain.

Black Forest Bed and Breakfast was the perfect place to stay in Helen for a quick getaway trip to celebrate my best friend getting married. It was clean. Angie, the owner, made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast each morning was cooked fresh and was absolutely delicious. It was within walking distance to everything in Helen, so once we parked, we never moved our vehicle again until it was time to go home. We would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone that asked and would definitely stay here again. We can't wait to come back.

There are a lot of stairs to get to the cottage. The stairs are bit steep. The office is a bit cluttered, which gives a bad impression upon first entering.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was excellent. The breakfast was outstanding. We arrived a day early, and they were able to accommodate us with a different cottage for the extra night. We moved two doors down to the cottage we had reserved the following day.

It's nitpicking because it's certainly not a deal-breaker, but we had to walk up a lot of steps to our cabin each time. But, I would do it again in a heartbeat. :)

The owners/staff were super-friendly and hospitable. The homemade breakfast was awesome every morning. Couldn't ask for a better location, as it was very close to everything. We walked everywhere.

I couldn't seem to get the TV to work, but that was not a big deal and I didn't really need it anyway. Could have been my lack of knowledge with the remotes. It has a little age on the buildings but was nice and clean with well appointed furnishings . It was a very good value.

The owners were super nice and helpful. We even had a black bear and cub out back one night. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious with bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, apple pancakes, and sweet potato pancakes and more. Also free water and ice as well as Popsicles. The location was great. Easy walking distance to downtown Helen. Great general store (Betty's) across the street. Excellent German restaurant and bakery very close by within walking distance. Heart shaped spa tub was nice too. Nice coy pond and courtyard with pergolas, sitting areas, and grills.

Parking could be a little difficult if the B&B is full. We had no issues during our stay..

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was very pretty and very clean. We were on the 3rd level, so yes there were about 50 steps to climb to get to it. But it was not a big deal. The B&B had bottles of water, snacks, coffee/tea available all the time. Breakfast was good, bacon, eggs with mozzarella cheese, sausage patties, breads coffee, tea, juices, fresh fruit. More than enough.. They will also accommodate for those that have a special diet. Example make eggs without cheese for those who are lactose intolerant. The location was amazing. Everything was right there.

Angie was great she went above and beyond my girlfriend and I went for our birthday weekend which is 27th for her and 28th for me before leaving Angie went and got us a birthday cake with the morning breakfast. The staff and other guests wished us a happy birthday! Angie also had to hug us goodbye like we were friends or family when we checked out! It was such a nice and personal gesture to cap off a relaxing stay in a great location to what Helen has to offer 😄

Needs a little updating in the rooms. The bathroom sink and drawers were falling apart.

The staff was very attentive to our needs. They always asked if every was okay and if there was something else we needed.
