The cabins were quite close together.

The cabin was so clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and easy for us to prepare our own meals. We liked that the decor was not fussy, just simple and very pleasant. The location along the Betsie River was very peaceful and scenic.

It was tight quarters maneuvering by car inside the resort itself. Nothing to be done. Turning left out of the resort was sometimes a challenge because of traffic but again, nothing to be done

Do not sell campfire wood. They do provide a bundle every day.

Exceptional place. Right on Betsie River. Saw deer and rabbits across it. Fly fishermen in the river. Little fire pit just outside door. Wood provided. Staff very nice. We stayed 2 nights as a staging place for 2 charters. I wish we'd had more time to use the facilities. Up at 330am both mornings. Whirlpool and indoor pool. Very nice place.

Very well kept and the owners were very friendly and prompt on addressing any concerns or needs. All needed kitchen supplies and appliances made it very convenient. Great location to area attractions

It was very damp and it smelled of something we couldn't identify. I wasn't too surprised as it is just a cabin and we would book again, but it did dampen our enjoyment a little.

The family who owns and runs the resort are very friendly and welcoming and you can feel that it is family run throughout. We loved the pool and spa, which were fantastic! The little cabin we stayed in was comfortable.

The shower wasn’t easy to shower in

They are so kind and accommodating and polite! I loved this place! My kids thought it was small but for our needs it was great! We’re short though, so if you’re tall good luck showering comfortably lol. But it was great and the pool is nice too!

The wholesome vibes here are excellent! You can pick up cards, movies, board games, and other goodies from the main office while it is open. You can fish and kayak in the small, cute river. The cabin is very quaint and cozy, but offers lots of modern amenities. Check-in is easy and everything was very clean and put-together. A great place to stay!

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The resort was very easy to get to. The cabin was well appointed and updated. The beds were actually comfortable! My teenaged boys loved the indoor pool and hot tub. One of the community firepits was conveniently just outside our cabin and was stocked each night with plenty of firewood. Although we didn't end up making use of them, the office has quite a selection of games (board games, cards, etc) that can be checked out during the stay. Check-in was a breeze and the owners are so nice. We absolutely would return!

Friendliest of staff. They were always available to answer questions and help in any way. There were notes in the room giving information on everything about your room, the facilities, and checkout instructions. Everything at this resort was very neat and clean.

The cabin could have been another 2 or more feet wider and deeper and higher ceiling. The shower is too small to be able to bend forward to shave your legs. Cabin 4 is too small to have a king sized bed in it. A queen size would be better. The bed should be rotated 45 degrees to face the tv. The pool temp and hot tub temp was set too low on Saturday July 2.

We were in cabin 4 and the view off our deck looking at the river was terrific. Other cabins had a more obstructed view due to heavy tree and brush. The little kitchenette was awesome. It's so nice to be able to make breakfast in the morning and have a refrigerator. The indoor pool and hot tub was lovely. It's nice that there is music playing in there. The river is actually usable because it was so shallow, clean, and slow flowing. It would be really fun for kids to sit and play in there. It was great to have a bistro table and chairs on the personal deck and a private use picnic table and charcoal grill outdoors for enjoying family meals or meeting friends.

Very nice place to stay... very clean property was very well kept we were very busy so this was a place to sleep for us.... Sleep bear doons was great along with beaches for rock hunting the staff was very nice and helpful about the area.

Loved everything except possible the parking. We were in town for business with multiple vehicles and the driveways were fairly tight and overflow parking was down below the lodging. Not a big deal really.

The property was very nice, as listed. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. I would stay here again without hesitation.
