Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndonesiaThe room wall is rather thin that we could hear people next-door speaking and the sound of their TV. The breakfast room can get very tight, queuing for a cup of coffee. Pay extra for inhouse parking.
Location was great, walking distance to the beach, cafes and restaurants, a supermarket and convenience stores. The staff were all friendly. The bathroom was excellent, bright, modern, good water pressure, with hot and cold water. The bed comfortable and bedsheets were clean and tight. The hotel had a large parking area underneath.

Very clean and recently updated rooms. Parking was underground and made it easy to access the hotel. Lots of places to eat within walking distance.

United Statesthe room was sprayed with something similar to Febreze which i do not like. Perfumed smells irritate my sinuses. The first night i thought it was the soap used to wash the sheets and pillowcases. In the morning i asked the staff if they could do something about it such as re-wash the sheets. They could not since the laundry was sent out. the next night the sheets did not smell with the perfume but i believe the cleaning person sprayed the air conditioning unit with the same and the scent was everywhere in the room.
The staff was friendly and the room clean. loved the location next to the long beach taco company. great tacos!
